The search continues for a Massachusetts man who reportedly vanished last month under suspicious circumstances.
Jason Thomas’ wife told WFXT that he left their Wakefield home on December 12 after taking care of their dogs. She stated that cameras last filmed him walking near some train tracks, though the train conductor said he never boarded the train that night.
Thomas’ wife also revealed to the news outlet that Thomas had been struggling since his parents’ deaths in November.
“His mom died of dementia, and about 90 minutes later, his dad died of a massive heart attack literally in his arms, so that was really troubling; he’s an only child, it was really overwhelming,” she said.
WBTs reported that Thomas is a scientist at Novartis, a pharmaceutical company.
Thomas was described as standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, and having brown eyes and black and grey hair. He was last seen with a white and grey puffy coat, dark blue jeans, and a black hat.
Anyone with information regarding Thomas’ whereabouts is asked to call Wakefield police at 781-245-1212.
