Search Continues for for 2 Missing Children After Child’s Remains Found ENCASED IN CONCRETE – Crime Online

The search continues for two Colorado children after Pueblo police found the body of another child encased in concrete in a Pueblo storage unit.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, officers with the Pueblo Police Department arrived on January 10 at the Kings Storage off Sixth Street after a caller found a mysterious metal container filled with hardened concrete.

In the course of the investigation, police determined that the concrete concealed the remains of a child.

“The victim in this incident will be identified by the Pueblo County Coroner after appropriate notifications are made,” police said. “The Pueblo Police are investigating this case as a homicide.”

The owner of the storage unit told 9News that the person leasing the unit had not made payments for several months, adding that they had until January 10 to empty the unit of their belongings.

The identity of the person who discovered the container and alerted the police remains uncertain. Authorities clarified that this individual was not an employee of the storage facility.

Police said they are now trying to locate two children connected with the investigation, who have not been seen since the summer of 2018. Yesenia Dominguez was around three when she was last seen, and Jesus Dominguez was five.

Someone who claimed the missing children are her siblings has reportedly accused their father and his girlfriend of “taking them away from their family,” according to DailyMail.

“There is nothing we can do when we have no clue where anyone is. We searched everywhere and contacted [the] police several times about this and now they want to finally take [this] seriously.”

The Pueblo Police Department said Wednesday that two persons of interest have been interviewed but no arrests have been made.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Pueblo Police dispatch at (719) 553-2502 or Detective Nicholas Lile at (719) 601-7751. To remain anonymous, contact Pueblo Crime Stoppers @ (719) 542-STOP (719- 542-7867) or www.pueblocrimestoppers.com.
