Search of 55-Acre Property Yields No Sign of Woman Who Vanished After Getting Threatening Phone Call – Crime Online

A search conducted on Friday at a 55-acre property reportedly uncovered no sign of a Pennsylvania woman who vanished earlier this month.

WTXF reported that Philadelphia police searched Awbury Arboretum for Kada Scott, 23, who was last seen on October 4. Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore said nothing was found on the property, where they zeroed in on “where cars drive in and out of.”

Vanore said they believe Scott is not “voluntarily missing,” though he could not confirm whether foul play is involved.

Scott was last seen leaving early from her overnight shift at a nursing home. Her car was found in the nursing home’s parking lot.

Philadelphia Police Captain John Craig said Scott does not have a history of disappearing, and her co-workers did not notice anything out of the ordinary before she vanished.

However, Craig also claimed that Scott told her family about someone harassing her over the phone shortly before she vanished. Police said they are unsure who the caller was, but they are investigating.

Scott reportedly left home with her car keys, iPad, iPhone, and iWatch. Her phone has been shut off, so cops cannot track her location.

Scott was described as standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds. Anyone with information regarding this case should call Philadelphia police at 215-686-3353.
