The Real Housewives of Miami duo Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton’s friendship is so tight that they even chose to take a commercial flight to Spain together, rather than have only one of them snag the lone available seat on Stephanie Shojaee’s luxe private jet. There is one topic that continues to cause some turbulence between the two “bros,” though: Alexia’s on-and-off relationship with Todd Nepola.
That became abundantly clear on The Real Housewives of Miami After Show for Season 7, Episode 11, when a producer mentioned Alexia’s reveal in Seville that she was wearing her wedding ring again — despite her and Todd’s then-ongoing divorce — resulting in a shouting match between the besties.
“The whole trip was to take your mind off of Todd,” Marysol pointed out in the above clip. “Seriously, Alexia, I literally gave up a f–kin’ flight on a private jet for you to go to Spain to get over Todd, and you’re still wearing your wedding ring. Do you remember how many airports we went through dragging our luggage? I could have flown there direct, sleeping like a f–kin’ baby on the plane. And you were still wearing your ring, so you weren’t finished.”

Alexia responded by saying that it never felt like her trip, though, especially given the heated showdown between her and Stephanie.
Marysol insisted that the ladies were simply there to give her “some f–kin’ peace,” to which Alexia fired back, “And you didn’t! You f–kin’ gave me more chaos! … All of you gave me more emotional chaos than what I had at home.”
Not to worry, though, the Ay Por Favor podcast co-hosts quickly returned to form: When Marysol pushed back that she shouldn’t be grouped with their castmates in that case, Alexia conceded, “Well, not you. You always bring joy to my life and laughter.”
Alexia Nepola explains why she wore her wedding ring in Spain
Showing off that she was only wearing “half [her] wedding ring” on the RHOM After Show, Alexia opened up about why the sparkler her now-ex-husband gifted her was on her finger in Seville, months earlier.
“Even though I was separated with Todd, I always felt, like, married to him,” she shared. “I still felt super connected to him, super in love with him, still seeing each other. So, I went to Spain, and I was wearing my ring because, to me, it meant something. … We weren’t living together, but we were still very together.”

Alexia gave a simpler explanation during RHOM‘s August 14 episode, telling a producer she was wearing the ring “because I’m still married.”
Elsewhere on the After Show, Alexia actually blamed her RHOM castmates — not the ring itself — for making her “think more about Todd” throughout the European cast getaway.
“That’s all you girls wanna know … It’s all about me and Todd,” Alexia elaborated, accusing the other women of not discussing their own relationships.

Alexia admitted to Julia Lemigova while shopping for flamenco dresses in Seville that, though she likes to “disconnect” when she travels, Todd had been sending her good morning texts during the trip.
“I’ve always been connected to Todd,” Alexia said, adding that the was even “feeling him more” with the Atlantic Ocean physically separating them.
As Alexia further revealed on the After Show, though, she was secretly “talking to him every night” in her room, too.
“Listen, I wanted to come home to be with Todd,” she confessed to Marysol. “I’m being honest with you. I didn’t know the purpose of the trip.”
As Marysol shared with some of the other ladies in the episode, at the time, the “latest update” she had was that Alexia and Todd had just returned from a “wonderful weekend” in New York City.
“She’s happy. She’s good now,” she continued. “When things aren’t good, she is not easy to be around. It gets unpleasant.”
Larsa Pippen, meanwhile, warned Marysol she would “lose Alexia” if she and Todd got back together.
