Kyle appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Tuesday, March 10, where he admitted that he is in a very unique place with Amanda currently. “I mean, it takes effort because there’s a lot of noise,” he said. “But she’s been very supportive. I try to be there for her, especially with some of the rumors that she’s kind of entangled with. It’s not easy, there’s no playbook for this, but we’re trying.”
Amanda spoke with Marie Claire earlier that month, where she revealed that she is eager to be Kyle’s friend. “I like being around him and in his space; I just never liked being responsible for him,” she said. “Being able to enjoy each other’s company and then go home whenever I want, without worrying about him, is going to change our whole relationship. It’ll be so much easier for us to be friends again.”

During an appearance on The Summer House Always Wins panel on November 15, 2025, Amanda admitted that she had evolved over the past 10 seasons of Summer House.
“I’ve done so much growing up,” she said. “And now that I’m 34, because it’s been 10 years, I feel like I’m a whole different person. I’ve really come into my own, you know. I was Kyle’s ex-girlfriend, then Kyle’s girlfriend, then Kyle’s fianceé, then Kyle’s wife, and now I’m sitting next to Mr. Batula, also known as Amanda Batula’s husband.”

After BravoCon, Amanda jokingly responded to rumors that she was living separately from Kyle. Amanda took to her Instagram Story on Dec. 7, where she filmed a video inside a child’s playhouse, joking about the separation.
“I just wanted to confirm the rumors that Kyle and I are living separately…I just wanted to show you guys: This is my new house,” she said in the video. “It’s small. It’s kind of all I can afford, but decorated for the holidays, and I’m really excited. So, I could just use your support at this time. And, you know, just some privacy while we figure this out. One month later, both Kyle and Amanda confirmed their separation on January 16, 2026. The couple took to their respective Instagram stories, where they announced that they were separating after four years of marriage in a joint statement.
“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” the statement read. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing. It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter. Following the release of the statement, Kyle spoke with comedian, Adam Glyn, in a video posted to Instagram on Jan. 22. In the video, Kyle admitted that he and Amanda wanted to put out a statement about their relationship ahead of the premiere of Summer House Season 10.
“It was like, the worst kept secret, but we just weren’t ready to talk about it,” he said. “It’s a tough topic, right? But we’re gonna get asked a thousand questions about our relationship based on the trailer itself, so we decided [to] rip the Band-Aid off.”
“This isn’t like, a big breakup where there’s a smoking gun and there’s a lot of hate,” he continued. “There’s absolutely some frustration…I’ve done things, she’s done things. But we’ve got each other’s back. We care about each other. We still love each other.”

Amanda confirmed she moved out of their shared apartment in November 2025 when she appeared on WWHL in early February 2026. In her interview with Marie Claire, Amanda revealed that she had originally separated from Kyle in November 2025 ahead of BravoCon weekend. She admitted that she had moved out of their NYC apartment in order to take some space from their relationship.
“The plan was to date each other, work on our relationship, and take some space,” she said. “But the space made us realize, well, maybe we want more space; that the separation should be permanent.”

Amanda Batula opens up about co-parenting her dogs with Kyle Cooke
Although Amanda and Kyle are living separately from each other, they are continuing to co-parent their two dogs, Reese and Ryder together. Amanda appeared on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy on Jan. 27, where she opened up about the situation. “We talk all the time, you know, we’re both traveling, so I’m watching the dogs,” she said during the episode. “So I’m watching the dogs, he’s watching the dogs, we’re co-parenting the dogs.”
Amanda further addressed this during a Feb. 3 appearance on WWHL. “It’s working right now and that’s all that matters. I just want the dogs to be happy,” she admitted.

During that Feb. appearance on WWHL, Amanda revealed that she might be the first out of her and Kyle to start dating again. “Maybe me? Would that be crazy? Maybe?” she asked, further denying that she and Kyle will get back together.
Amanda told Marie Claire that she would like to start dating now that she is separated. “I am manifesting a boyfriend, but just a boyfriend,” she told the publication. “No one who’s looking for anything serious. I just want to have fun with someone my age or younger, since I’ve always dated older. For now, while I heal, I just want to flirt and make out.”
However, she does not want to date one of her Summer House cast members. Amanda appeared on Trading Secrets on March 9, where she said that she does not see herself with any of her friends. “I’m not touching any of my cast members,” she said during the episode. “Yeah no, love them dearly, but I’m good.”

Kyle also addressed dating rumors involving Southern Charm cast member Salley Carson as well as Next Gen NYC‘s Ava Dash during his appearance on WWHL. “We were out with multiple friends at a dive bar,” he said of his meet up with Salley. “This was not a date situation, just having fun. But she’s a great girl.”
He described his dinner with Ava as a “very friendly dinner” and denied “messing around” with her. “We were at a family dinner doing a family blessing, holding hands, so I was holding her [hand]. It was just a random drinking day in New York,” he told Andy.

He also opened up about the breaking point that led to their separation. “I mean, look, she was my best friend,” he said. “We were very different people, but splitting was not something we took lightly.
