One thing about Brittany Cartwright? She never fails to go all out on Christmas decorations.
The Valley cast member returned to Instagram this week to share several peeks at her home’s holiday makeover and the changes she was making to this year’s decor. She began by posting a photo of her staircase handrail wrapped with a lush faux garland that cascaded over the spindles. It was a very pretty and festive addition, but Brittany clarified it was just a little taste of what she had in store.
“It’s timeeeee,” she captioned the Instagram Story. “I’m doing something different with the staircase this year, can’t wait to show yall how it turns out!”
Brittany Cartwright unveils her “gorgeous” gingerbread Christmas tree
However, Brittany wasn’t completely straying from her signature Christmas aesthetic. Several hours after teasing her staircase transformation, the Vanderpump Rules alum revealed she was reviving her gingerbread Christmas tree. Brittany shared a photo from inside her San Fernando Valley living room after she assembled the faux evergreen and began the decoration process.
“Gingerbread tree is on her way,” she captioned the snap.

Brittany adorned the tree with a variety of gingerbread men and gingerbread house ornaments. She also packed it with red and white pieces, like glittery baubles, some classic holly, sparkly peppermints, a bow topper, and a few floral additions.
“I added red roses to the gingerbread tree this year, and I’m loving it!” she said. “I also found these gingerbread candycane poinsettias to put on the tree. I’m almost done I promise lol.”
Brittany unveiled the final product shortly after. And, we have to say, the tree looked even better than last year’s.
“She’s gorgeous,” Brittany wrote.
Brittany Cartwright shares an update on Jax Taylor divorce
2025 will mark Brittany’s second Christmas since she announced her divorce from Jax Taylor.
She spoke about the split during the Peaks and The Valley panel at BravoCon 2025, admitting there were a lot of unknowns surrounding the legal battle.
“I am praying December,” she said when asked when her divorce would be finalized. “Things are happening with Jax. It was supposed to be October 15, and I was hoping for that, and it’s been pushed back. So December is… fingers crossed.”
Brittany and Jax purchased the five-bedroom, four-bathroom Valley home in 2019, just several weeks before their wedding, and about two years before they welcomed their first and only child, Cruz Cauchi.
Brittany temporarily moved out of their home after confirming her marital split in early 2024, but returned to the house before the end of the year. Jax eventually relocated to a Los Angeles-area townhouse and established an informal custody arrangement with his estranged wife.
How Brittany Cartwright & Jax Taylor are coparenting amid the holidays
So, how will the ex-couple navigate the holidays? Brittany told Page Six that there were a few details that needed to be ironed out, but she will definitely spend Christmas with her 4-year-old boy.
“Well, I always have Christmas. I go to Kentucky,” she said, referring to her home state. “I have a huge family [there]… all of my family live on a farm, and they’re all next-door neighbors. So, we go home, and [Cruz] has got all of his cousins and family.”

“I don’t want to miss it either,” she said. “We’ll see how it goes… I gotta navigate it, because a lot has changed right now.”
