Dorit Kemsley’s kids are taking a page from their famous mom and stepping into the spotlight—and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member couldn’t be more proud!
Dorit recently took to social media to share the moment son, Jagger Kemsley, and daughter, Phoenix Kemsley, took center stage together during a production of the Sound of Music, hitting some high notes of their own as they performed the classic “Sixteen Going on Seventeen.”
“This is a moment I’ll cherish forever,” Dorit captioned a video of the performance. “Jagger stepped in as Rolf just a week before the show, and Phoenix — my shining Liesl — met him with such joy and ease. Watching them rehearse all week, support one another, and then light up the stage together… it’s hard to explain how much that meant to me as their mama.”
The video showed Phoenix, who wore a beautiful, flowy purple gown, and Jagger, donning a light suit and cap, as they sang and danced across the stage while embodying the iconic characters.
Dorit shares both children with her estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley.
Dorit Kemsley celebrates the big moments with her two children
It isn’t the first time Dorit has sung her children’s praises. The proud mom makes a regular habit of enthusiastically celebrating all of her son and daughter’s biggest milestones. She was loudly cheering earlier this spring when Jagger hit a homerun during a baseball game, earning some high-fives in the process from his excited teammates. “These moments of pure joy and excitement feel indescribable,” she captioned a video of the hit.
The next month, it was daughter Phoenix’s time to shine after she was named the grand champion in the 10-year-old division of a ballet competition. “Gliding into the weekend like Phoenix at her ballet competition today,” Dorit wrote on Instagram along with a video of the routine. “Congratulations, my beautiful girl — 1st place.”
The young ballerina was competing a “full year up” from her own age and was captured in the video gracefully dancing on pointe as she leapt and pirouetted across the stage. “Your grace, dedication, and joy lit up the stage, and my heart couldn’t be fuller,” Dorit continued in the post. “So proud of you! I love you endlessly.”
Another video highlighted the “best part” of the performance as she did her final moves before striking an epic final pose and taking a bow.
“Didn’t realize yesterday’s video cut off the best part—Phoenix’s Graduation Ball variation that won her grand champion,” Dorit wrote. “And that walk-off? Grace, drama, and pure presence. She’s next level.”
How Dorit Kemsley is co-parenting amid her split from Paul “PK” Kemsley
Amid her split from PK, Dorit is also taking plenty of time to just relax with her children. She and Jagger had a “date night” of their own last month at a hibachi restaurant. Dorit shared a video of the chef’s impressive culinary skills—and Jagger’s mesmerized reaction—in a May 27 Instagram Story. “Love date night with my boy,” Dorit captioned the story, which also included a selfie of the pair as they grinned into the camera.
