Gina Kirschenheiter might be best known as a blonde, but The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member is definitely not afraid to experiment with her hair color. In the past, in fact, Gina has embraced brown to nearly black hair.

In a set of throwback photos that she posted to Instagram back in June, Gina reminded us of just this. Slide 9 in the Instagram carousel below shares a look at Gina with dark hair (sprinkled in among many photos of Gina in her signature blonde hair). She styled the raven-hued tresses by pulling them back in the throwback photo in which she’s posting alongside her dad.
It’s not the first time Gina has shared a photo of herself rocking brunette hair. For October 2024, she shared a video of herself with brown hair in which she and Emily Simpson were dressed as the twins from The Shining.
Back in 2019, she shared a throwback photo from her college graduation in which her hair was dyed a chocolate brown shade. She also wore her hair brown back in 2022, asking the very question that has plagued beauty lovers since the beginning of time: “Let’s see who has more fun.”

Currently Gina is wearing her hair bright and blonde (as seen in a photo taken from her recent appearance at the Bravo offices, below).
Back in 2022, Gina reflected on her hair journey over the years, noting how her own personal evolution has been reflected in her hair. “Finally being happy in my life, figuring out my skin, figuring out my hair has just really helped my overall confidence,” she explained at the time. “I just really feel like right now I’m more myself and more comfortable in my own skin than I ever have been before, which is a really nice feeling.”

Gina added back in 2022, “There is a difference between fashion and style. When you have your own personal style, people can really understand that. It doesn’t look like somebody just put something on you. It looks like it came from you.
