Joe Bradley is reflecting on his Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 love triangle with Elena “Ellie” Dubaich and Bri Muller today. The deckhand found himself flirting with and kissing both Ellie and Bri during last season of Below Deck Med (more on that down below), but now has a new perspective on things one season later.
Joe appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday, Oct. 27, where he made two big declarations about his time working with Ellie and Bri aboard M/Y Mustique. When asked to name one crew member from Below Deck Med Season 9 or Season 10 that he would “never work with again,” Joe had one apparent answer to this for a specific reason.
“You know what I’m going to say? I’m going to say Ellie. I’m going to say Ellie,” he said. “It was intense.”
And when asked to choose the “better kisser” between Bri and Ellie. “It’s got to be Bri,” he admitted.Â

“So the beauty of all of this, I’ve kept in touch with everyone,” he admitted. “Like, I’ve got no animosity with anyone, and it’s absolutely fantastic.”
What happened between Joe Bradley and Ellie Dubaich?
Joe and Ellie flirted throughout Below Deck Med Season 9, and even kissed at one point. Although Joe was torn between Ellie and Bri throughout the season, he ended up maintaining a friendship with both of them after the charter season was over.
But things went downhill between Joe and Ellie when they met up after Below Deck Med Season 9 in Florida, when Joe panicked amidst their hangout. Joe also revealed that he didn’t like the fact that Ellie “was badmouthing Bri” during their hangout. Joe then proceeded to hang out with Bri after this trip during a jaunt to Los Angeles, which upset Ellie, resulting in her blocking Joe on Instagram.
But, Ellie spoke with The Daily Dish in September 2024, where she admitted that she and Joe are in a much better place today. “Our friendship hit a bit of a roadblock in the meanwhile, but he’s reached out and offered a heartfelt apology for being immature and not realizing how his behavior was affecting others, which was big of him,” she explained. “I’ve accepted it and I’m happy to move forward as a friend. I have no animosity towards him.”

But, during the episode, Joe revealed that he did not want to make the same mistakes that he made with Bri and Ellie during Below Deck Med Season 9. “It was super tough last season with the love triangle that I got with Bri and Ellie,” he explained during a confessional this season. “I’m going to try to behave.”
