The besties turned frenemies have been at odds since the Season 7 premiere of The Real Housewives of Miami, but Larsa Pippen and Lisa Hochstein finally took a beat to hash out their issues backstage during Part 3 of the reunion—and their friendship may have turned a corner.
Prior to their backstage sit-down, the drama initially started when Larsa discovered Lisa and her boyfriend, Jody Glidden, were still on good terms with her ex-boyfriend, Marcus Jordan, and their feud only escalated from there.
“You need to say sorry, because you f—ked up,” Lisa angrily told Larsa during the final reunion episode as they sat on the couches. Host Andy Cohen then asked Larsa, “Let me ask you a question, if you could apologize to Jody backstage, would you do it?” Larsa answered, “Yes, I’m not going to make my friend upset anymore. I feel like this has gone on for too long.”
Larsa stayed true to her word—stopping by Lisa’s dressing room during a filming break, and sitting down with Lisa and Jody.
“I wanna say that I’m sorry,” Larsa told Jody. “I didn’t mean to bring you into this. It was not your fault. I shouldn’t have brought you into this. Like, it was just a tough time for me and I just needed [Lisa]. That’s all.”
Lisa Hochstein slams Larsa Pippen’s “unwarranted” claims about Jody
Although Lisa and Larsa had multiple reasons behind their beef during Season 7, in the Oct. 16 reunion episode, Guerdy Abraira helped articulate Lisa’s biggest problem with Larsa.
“There’s a big severity of this issue that [Larsa] wants to skip over, and only talk about how Jody’s texting her. The insinuation of what Jody was doing, or on, is the issue at hand,” Guerdy explained.
Guerdy was referencing the way Larsa debriefed her RHOM castmates on her, Lisa and Jody’s trip to Milan Fashion Week during Episode 2. Larsa described Jody as “so crazy” after “cameras shut down for the night,” and showed a picture of Jody where she insinuated his eyes were large.
“When I saw the footage, I was disgusted,” Lisa told Larsa during the Oct. 16 episode. “Going in on Jody was so unwarranted.” She then accused Larsa and Julia Lemigova of “[insinuating] he was on something,” which both he and Lisa have since denied.

Another point of contention between the ‘Wives all season—which exploded during the cast trip to Seville, Spain—was the fact that Lisa was still following Marcus on social media even after he and Larsa broke up. Lisa admitted that was wrong during the reunion.
“I am sorry for not unfollowing Marcus. My bad. I should have done that. I wish I did. But you have a lot of things that you should be saying sorry for too,” she pointed out to Larsa.
Lisa added, “You know what it is? It really hurt Jody and I’s relationship. We’ve had nights where—I don’t want to give you that much power, but—we’ve had nights where we almost broke up because of it. Because of his reputation being on the line.”
Lisa Hochstein and Larsa Pippen take steps to repair their friendship
Prior to their backstage chat, Lisa was still fuming about Larsa as the RHOM cast took a break during the Oct. 16 episode.
“I really wanted her to own it and retract the accusations that were cast against you,” Lisa told Jody. “Because this is very hurtful to you. You’re a businessman.”
When Larsa decided to stop by Lisa’s dressing room, she came waving a white flag.
“I know, Jody, you don’t know my history with Lisa—like we have been such good friends,” Larsa told him and explained why she was so angry with Lisa. “We’ve gone through so much together, and it’s just gone so south. I just feel like, for me, I just really, really needed Lisa. You know what I’m saying? I was going through a very tough time for me.”
But Lisa pointed out that Larsa dragged Jody into their feud. “It was a lot for him, where he was like, ‘I don’t want to be a part of this circus,’” she told Larsa.
Larsa shared she’d just wanted Lisa to call her after her breakup with Marcus, and that she was “very hurt” by the lack of support. But then she went on to apologize to Jody. Both Lisa and Jody were appreciative.

Jody revealed to Larsa, “You know the last time I saw Marcus was a year ago?” And Larsa agreed, “We’re fighting over nothing.” Lisa chimed in, “We don’t even want to be a part of it, because it’s like, we want to remove ourselves.”
The two ‘Wives agreed not to fight anymore (and even shared a hug) as Lisa declared, “If you love me, please don’t bring Jody into it, ever. Like, let’s keep it you and I.”
Back out on the reunion couches, Andy was pleased to hear of the “positive” turn for Lisa and Larsa’s friendship.
“We had a nice talk. I think that we feel good right now,” Lisa admitted. “We feel good. I think that you don’t know how much that meant to me.”
Larsa shared that their friendship has always been there, despite the difficult times. She added, “Honestly, I feel like if we talk and we hang out, we like enjoy being around each other.”
