Naomie Olindo has officially begun her wedding planning process! The Southern Charm alum got engaged to her fiancé, Billy Haire, at the end of 2025, and is now trying on wedding dresses in anticipation of the big day.
Naomie took to both TikTok and her Instagram accounts over the weekend, where she revealed that she was in NYC with her best friends, trying on wedding dresses. Although she did not share whether or not she found “the one,” she did give an idea of what she isn’t going for when it comes to her big day.
In snapshots from a video posted to her Instagram Story captioned, “Wedding dresses I tried but didn’t choose,” Naomie can be seen standing in different fitting rooms, trying on so many different dresses in various textures and styles. There were just some styles that she didn’t like on herself. She noted that one dress, with a mesh top, long sleeves, an a-line skirt, and a built-in cape, was “too modest even for me.”
Naomie also noted that she “haaaaated” a white lace sheath dress with a mesh bodice and cap sleeves, and thought that a satin, sleeveless, turtle neck dress with a pleated drop waist skirt “felt way too ‘trendy.'”
“Blessed to have friends that sat through hours of this,” she wrote in the caption of the post on TikTok.Â

Naomie also gave a look inside the group’s weekend in the Big Apple, outside of wedding dress shopping. In the photos, posted to Naomie’s Instagram Story, she can be seen standing in the snowy streets of the city, balancing a glass of red wine on her head, and smiling alongside her pals inside an Italian restaurant, Emilio’s Ballato. “Heaven!!!” she wrote in the caption of the post.
She also took to TikTok, where she posted a video of herself, standing on a sidewalk alongside her friends. “Absolutely no revenge because one day you’ll be cackling in the city trying on wedding dresses with your best childhood friends,” she wrote over the video.
“Best weekend,” she added in the caption.

Billy proposed to Naomie in late 2025 while on a walk with their adorable dogs. In the photo, posted to Naomie’s Instagram account on Dec. 28, Billy can be seen getting down on a bent knee, popping the question to Naomie, who held her hands over her mouth.
The businessman proposed to Naomie with a stunning oval-shaped diamond ring, surrounded by two smaller, emerald-cut diamonds, which appear to be set on a platinum-colored band. Naomie showed off her ring during a FaceTime call with a friend, which she posted to her Instagram Story shortly after her proposal.

But the engagement was a surprise to Naomie. The L’Abeye founder took to TikTok a few weeks after the proposal, where she confirmed that it was a complete shock to her, as she was not prepared for it, especially since she was wearing such a casual outfit.
“Were you surprised when he proposed?” she wrote over the photo. “Yes,” she replied, zooming in on her footwear choice. “Poop bags and Uggs would indicate yes,” she noted in the caption of the video.
