Steven McBee Jr. gifted his girlfriend, Allie Eklund, something rather major for her birthday and is very excited about it. The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys cast member has been dating the entrepreneur for less than a year, but he is so “thankful” for her and their relationship and gave her a horse for her special day to prove it.
The Missouri native took to his Instagram Story in March, where he posted a video showing off Allie’s birthday present. In the snapshot from the video, Steven can be seen holding the reins of the horse, which looked so majestic standing tall at Steven’s family farm. “Hey, Allie, Happy birthday. This is your new horse, AJ. I guess he’ll be meeting you soon. Congratulations,” someone said from behind the camera.
Steven then took to the caption of the post, where he wished Allie a happy birthday. “Might not be a Birkin, but I think this is a close second for a gift,” he wrote in the caption of the post, along with a winking face emoji. “We’ve got some riding to do!”
He also posted a photo of Allie holding his niece, Summer Leigh McBee, in her lap, while they both smiled for the camera. “Thankful for you and the light you’ve brought into our family!” he added.

Allie spoke with Naluda Magazine in December 2025, where she teased how their relationship will play out on The McBee Dynasty Season 3. She also shed new light on her relationship with her boyfriend. “Early on, Steven and I aligned on how important communication is to the both of us,” she explained. “We’ve each been in relationships where that foundation wasn’t strong, so we made it a priority from the beginning.”
“What surprised me was how much the show actually strengthened that,” she added. “When every moment is being filmed, you naturally start debriefing more — recapping conversations, checking in with each other, and making sure we’re on the same page emotionally. It pushed us to communicate even deeper and more consistently, and that’s something I now value so deeply.”

If his present and birthday tribute weren’t enough proof, Steven has openly talked about how happy he is in his relationship with Allie following his breakup with his ex-girlfriend, Calah Jackson. He spoke with The Daily Dish at BravoCon 2025 in November, where he shared some new information about his sweet relationship and revealed how Allie has won the approval of his mom, Kristi McBee.
“Things have been great,” he said of his relationship with Allie. “It has been such a good experience dating someone that brings so much peace to my life and is integrated with my family so well. So it’s been really, really fun. My mom probably loves her than I do already. My mom is like, ‘I’ve got a new best friend.’ They text more than Allie and I do.”
