More than three years after she began dating the Texas businessman, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum confirmed she and her boyfriend had purchased a home in La Quinta, California. Vicki confirmed the move in the latest episode of My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast, admitting she and Michael almost passed on the investment.
“We weren’t gonna do it,” she told her co-host Christian Gray Snow. “Then we asked for a second appraisal, and it came back higher than what we offered, so we pulled the trigger, and it was a 14-day close.”

Vicki said she has been spending a lot of time in La Quinta, overseeing various upgrades while Michael was in Texas for work. She showed off the new digs in a September 20 Instagram Story, explaining what she had in store for her new home.

“Michael and I bought a house in La Quinta. It came furnished, but you know me, I can’t do black and white,” she said in the video captioned “new home reveal.” “I’m actually gonna keep the leather white couch… but I’m softening it up with all different shades of green. The outside is all green. It’s beautiful.”

Vicki revealed that the home required considerable electrical work, as it was 35 years old. She said she also had to replace the thermostats, install new lighting fixtures and dimmers, and was getting rid of some furniture/decor pieces that came with the home.

She proceeded to show off the living room fireplace and white marble floors, which led to the kitchen and dining area. As Vicki previously mentioned, the interior was very monochromatic: the walls and countertops were stark white, while the cabinets and window/door trims were matte black.
Vicki told viewers she planned to do a few kitchen “touchups” to “make it prettier,” but didn’t provide specifics.
“It was a lot harder than I thought,” Vicki said about the move-in process. “Needless to say, my [to-do] list [is long]. I had to hire a landscaper, a pool guy, the this, that. So, Michael’s in Texas, and he’s like, ‘I want to be there!’ And said, ‘Well, baby, I’m getting it done.’”
