After Steven McBee Sr. moved on from his ex-wife, Kristi McBee, first with Galyna Saltkovska and now his girlfriend Masha, Steven Sr. and Kristi’s tumultuous divorce has continued to impact their family throughout Season 2 of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys. Despite all the resentment and messiness, Steven McBee Jr. just shared a new, positive update on his parents’ relationship.

“They’re in a better place. Our family’s in a better place,” he announced when he and his brother Jesse McBee recently stopped by Bravo HQ.
Steven Sr. and Kristi were married for 28 years before Kristi “started finding out there was a lot of infidelity,” she revealed on Season 2, Episode 2, causing her to file for divorce. Her sons also acknowledged their father has a problem with commitment.
“My dad, for as good a person as he is, he was not a man that should have ever been married in the first place,” Steven Jr. said during his Bravo HQ appearance. “And I can honestly say now, my mom and dad have the best relationship they’ve ever had. Which is awesome.”
Steven shared more about the new McBee family dynamic after the cameras stopped rolling on Season 2.
“I mean, we get together as family and eat dinner two or three times a week. My mom will drive to the farm and we’ll all go over to my dad’s lodge and he’ll cook out for everyone,” he revealed.
Jesse added that Kristi and Steven Sr. were “the best absolute parents” to the McBee brothers — but not necessarily the best husband and wife to each other.

“Some people aren’t meant for each other, and it’s okay. You just have to accept it,” he shared while at Bravo HQ. “I’m amazed that they got married. And that’s what we always talk about, like how they got married in the first place, because they are completely opposite people. Like to a T.”
Jesse joked despite their clashing personalities, the brothers are still glad their parents did get together.
“I’m glad they did, because we wouldn’t be here, so, it worked out for us,” he added.
Steven McBee Jr. reveals how Kristi McBee feels about Steven Sr.’s dating life today
Kristi discovered early in Season 2 that her ex had moved on from girlfriend Galyna and was now dating Galyna’s “best friend” Masha.
“Wow. Man. It’s just one drama after another with your dad,” she told Steven Jr. during Episode 2.
Galyna and Masha’s intense feud over Steven Sr. included vandalized cowboy hats, missing chickens and “horrible” smells (courtesy of a visit by Galyna to Steven Sr.’s home). The women even confronted each other over the McBee patriarch, with Galyna accusing Masha of “backstabbing” her. But Steven Sr. also had conflict with Masha, including a heated confrontation in Nashville in Episode 7 where Masha accused Steven Sr. of “lying.”
Steven Jr. shared that as his parents’ relationship has evolved, they’re now able to joke about his “drama” with women.

“My mom will give him hell over his relationship issues, which is just hilarious to see,” he revealed during his visit to Bravo HQ. “Like, whenever my dad’s having issues with Masha, my mom will make fun of my dad right there in person, and it’s amazing.”
Kristi McBee shares where she stands with Galyna Saltkovska today
Kristi was frank about her feelings for Galyna, calling her “the mistress that effectively ended” her marriage to Steven Sr. She gave more details about Galyna and Steven Sr.’s affair during Episode 6, revealing that it began when her former husband hired Galyna to clean their family home, and eventually “brought her on with the other companies.” Despite this, Galyna and Kristi sat down for a face-to-face talk during Episode 6.
“Galyna apologized to me, and I’m not bitter with her at all,” Kristi shared in an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish. “I mean, she’s gone through enough herself. I don’t have any ill will towards her. How could I? I wouldn’t ever want to punish her. She’s getting punished enough.”
Kristi shared more thoughts on her feelings about Galyna today.
“Unfortunately, I don’t know if she wanted my life or not … but she got it,” she added. “And it’s not always what you think it will be. And unfortunately, she’s seeing what I went through, and I hope she can find her way out because I don’t want that for her.”
