When it comes to being a grandma, Yolanda Hadid has found the perfect sweet spot — quite literally. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum created a special place in her spacious Texas home just for granddaughter Khai, filled with more candy than she could imagine.
Yolanda recently gave fans a new look at the nook in her pantry inspired by her role as “Oma” — and pointed out just how tempting the custom space lined with gummy bears, M&Ms, and more can be — on her Instagram stories.
“My mind wants all of that, but my body wants just this,” she captioned the series of images that showed off glass jars filled to the brim with candy and cookies before settling on a healthy green smoothie.

It isn’t the first time fans have gotten a glimpse of the unique space. Yolanda first showed off the massive pantry in the home in an interview with Architectural Digest.
“Obviously, this is inspired by my granddaughter Khai when she comes, because she loves candy,” Yolanda explained in the video tour as the camera panned the organized shelves. “So I said, ‘Oma will make you one little section for you.’”
Granddaughter Khai, whose famous mom is Yolanda’s daughter Gigi Hadid, isn’t the only one to benefit from the mini candy shop. It’s also been a hit with Yolanda’s grown children Gigi, Bella, and Anwar Hadid, whom she shares with ex-husband Mohamad Hadid.

“I mean, all the kids when they come, they love different things, so I have a little bit for everybody,” she explained of the pantry, which also has some savory options like pretzels.
Aside from being the perfect spot to grab a snack, the room doubles as a tornado room made of cinder blocks to withstand the Texas weather. “I have some blankets up there, so if we get in a storm, I’m gonna make myself a little bed and eat all my candies, and I think I’m gonna do just fine,” Yolanda shared.
How Yolanda Hadid’s house has many rooms for her granddaughter
Yolanda’s commitment to being the very best Oma is evident in more than one space in her Texas house. She also created a special “bunk room” for Khai (and any future grandchildren) with the perfect amount of western flair.
“My bunk bed room design was inspired by my granddaughter Khai….. her presence has given me so much inspiration, truly the greatest blessing and honor in my life,” she wrote on Instagram in November along with images of the impressive space. “You think you know about love at this stage and then you be come a oma.”
The bunk room includes three full-size bunk beds along the back wall of the room, two of which are separated by a set of dark gray stairs. Each little nook has wood panel accent walls and large beds, complete with faux sheepskin headboards, and Western-themed bedding. A fourth section has an adorable vanity and storage.

“I just wanted to make her something really cute where she can bring friends, and I’m hoping for two more grandkids,” Yolanda explained to Architectural Digest. “I just wanted you know a cute place where they could all be together.”
She added that she wanted it to be a “happy space” that also had a cozy feel.
Yolanda shared a glimpse into her fulfilling family life recently in tribute to her son for his birthday, which also included more peeks at little Khai.
