These days, Shannon Storms Beador is single and feeling more than comfortable with her current relationship status. In fact, The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member is all about being single as she recently revealed to The Daily Dish.
“I am a relationship girl, but I’m not gonna lie, it’s kind of to be single and not have to worry about someone else,” she said in our chat with her earlier this spring.
While fans have watched Shannon navigate several serious relationships (including her marriage and divorce from her ex-husband), these days Shannon is at peace being single. “I will honestly say, I’ve never been happier in my life than I have in the past couple of years,” she said, referring to her 2022 breakup from her longtime ex-boyfriend, John Janssen, adding, “And I never thought that I’d be saying that.”

Shannon revealed going into her next relationship, she wants to “maintain some independence.”
It’s a lesson she’s taken from her prior romances. “And that’s something that I’ve learned over the relationships that didn’t work,” she said. “I still have to have a piece of me that’s still me.”

As she mentioned, she’s currently single after she recently went looking for love on Bravo’s Love Hotel. And she’s very much going to mingle in the upcoming Season 19 of RHOC.

He is the sweetest boy!!!” she wrote several weeks back. “So blessed with the new [addition] to our family!!!”

She revealed: “I would like to meet someone who has a kind heart, that is intelligent, and funny, and has good family values.”
In fact, Shannon in many ways is a hopeless romantic as she navigates life being single, telling People in July 2024. “I haven’t given up on love at all,” she said at the time. “I still have the dream to be in a partnership with somebody. I don’t know if I’ve ever really had that. So we’ll see.”
