The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Shannon Storms Beador left no stone unturned when discussing her current and past love life in an exclusive interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish.
The proud mother of three amazing daughters and divorcée, more specifically, explained that she hadn’t dated in a year prior to her stint on Bravo’s Love Hotel. On the dating show, which featured Housewives from different cities on a quest to find true love, Shannon passed over her now-good-friends Adam Rubin and Phillip Westbrooks — both of whom have appeared on the current season of RHOC — to check out of the hotel with love interest “Earl the Pearl.”
“That didn’t work,” Shannon revealed. “And, interestingly enough, even though I tried my best … we stayed together way longer than we should have, but I tried to make it work, and it impacted me, watching the show back, because I remembered how I cared about Earl.”
Since then, she has found herself “not excited about dating.”
Shannon Storms Beador reveals how her daughters feel about her dating life
Shannon may not be eager to put herself out there, but luckily, she has her adult daughters — 24-year-old Sophie Beador and 21-year-old twins, Stella Beador and Adeline Beador — to rely on for support.
In fact, Adeline and Sophie even joined their mother on Bravo’s Love Hotel to help Shannon follow her heart.
“They both want someone to — I know it sounds weird — kind of take care of me or that will make me a priority, because I don’t think I have been a priority in other relationships,” Shannon said. “So I think that’s what they want … They want me to be happy.”

Shannon Storms Beador shares the lessons she learned from marriage
Although the empty nester and dog mom has her eyes facing forward in her romantic life, she also said she’s grateful for her past experiences.
“You know, what I am proud of — and I will have to continue to work on it for the rest of my life — is that I look back at myself when I first started the show 11 years ago, when I was in my marriage, and I was a much more reactive person,” Shannon admitted to The Daily Dish. “But I can look at myself today, and, yes, I still react — and there are times when I blow up, but I think everybody does it — and I learn from it.”
Shannon went on, “I just feel like I’m a calmer person, and it’s okay, and I don’t have to stress about the small stuff, you know?”
