The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Shannon Storms Beador isn’t backing down after saying that her life had “never been better” once Tamra Judge was no longer in it.
As she put it on The Real Housewives of Orange County After Show Season 19, Episode 10, “I’m in a place right now where I think I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and she has not been a part of my life. There was a lot of walking on eggshells in our friendship.”
Tamra, for her part, separately chimed in to recall some of the “positive” experiences and “fun” they’d had over the course of the decade during which they were each other’s “go-to” friend. At the same time, she couldn’t help but throw in that it’s “a lot to be friends with” Shannon.

Meanwhile, Shannon denied the accuracy of Tamra’s POV: “When she describes what our friendship was, I feel like I’m in a twilight zone. In my eyes, she’s describing how I was towards her. Like, she’ll just say, ‘You’ve never had a better friend than me.’ It’s like… She wouldn’t even return calls.”
Explaining that she “didn’t wanna go tit for tat” with Tamra, Shannon continued, “I just didn’t say anything. And I regret that today. So, I just feel like I have to be honest. Maybe I’m doing it too much, I don’t know.”

As Tamra previously unpacked on RHOC‘s Sept. 11 episode, part of her reason for inviting Shannon to Temecula was for them to get their friendship back on track. After taking a small step forward during the cast trip to New Orleans, she felt they had since gone “backwards a little bit” and wanted to “just reunite and have some fun” together.
Though the mini getaway got off to an amicable enough start, by the time the women came together for dinner, any progress they might have made, seemed to quickly fall apart.
“You know what, Tamra? You don’t wanna take accountability for what you do,” Shannon accused her amid a spat with Jenn. “You go so low when you’re mad. And we all need to say, ‘It’s OK. Tamra can go low because that’s just who she is.’ I don’t go that low … but you do.”

In addition to her aforementioned comment about enjoying life more without Tamra’s friendship, the RHOC mom of three further accused her of constantly trying to “come after” her, despite being fully aware of the “hard last year” she had.
Similar to what she said on the After Show, Tamra reminded Shannon of all the times she’d been there for her over the past 10 years. As for their more recent drama, she added, “I was hurt. I thought that we were so close.”
Insisting that she didn’t want to “go backwards,” Tamra also mentioned that she and Gina Kirschenheiter had been “concerned” about Shannon’s recent behavior. Just as Gina entered the chat, however, a “To Be Continued…” graphic appeared on screen.
