It’s no secret that The Real Housewives of Orange County mom wasn’t thrilled when she learned her ex-boyfriend John Janssen was romantically involved with former Housewife Alexis Bellino. Shannon initially criticized the couple for being so public about their romance and questioned if there were “ulterior motives” within the relationship.
Nearly two years after becoming official, Alexis and John tied the knot in Laguna Beach, California, among 140 of their closest friends and family members. Shannon spoke about the ceremony during her October 23 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and suggested she had already moved on from her Season 18 drama with Alexis.

“You know what? A year has passed, so that’s a long time. Congratulations,” she said when asked about Alexis and John’s outdoor wedding. “I have said publicly it looked beautiful. It looked like a really pretty wedding, so good luck.”

While she has no ill will toward the newlyweds, Shannon made it clear she had no interest in establishing a friendship with them.
“The door is shut,” she said elsewhere in the episode. “It was closed last year.”

Shannon and John began dating in 2019, months after the Housewife finalized her divorce from her first husband. The mother of three reflected on the relationship in a 2020 interview with The Daily Dish, saying she “felt an instant bond with” John.
“I am so comfortable with him,” she said. “He is one of the kindest people that I’ve ever met. He is so thoughtful. We share the same faith, and he’s a great dad. He has really strong family values. There’s just so many things that you would kind of hope that one person would have, and he’s got them. So I’m very blessed.”
The pair split for good in 2022, about a year before John was introduced to Alexis at the Quiet Woman restaurant. Alexis and John got engaged in August 2024 and exchanged “I do’s” on October 3, 2025.

The wedding was addressed in RHOC Season 19, Episode 13, when Shannon’s castmate Jennifer Pedranti revealed she would not attend Alexis and John’s wedding. Shannon shed more light on the situation during her Clubhouse appearance, claiming she never asked Jennifer to skip the ceremony.

“Jenn and I are great friends,” Shannon told WWHL host Andy Cohen. “You can see at Tamra [Judge’s] cake-decorating party, [Jenn] brought it up, and I said, ‘Are you going?’ She said, ‘No,’ and I said, ‘Thank you.’ But in the end, Alexis did invite her on the day of, apparently.”
