Brittany Cartwright’s family is growing! The Valley cast member is already the mom to a 4-year-old son, Cruz Cauchi, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Jax Taylor. And now, their extended family is growing by one more. Brittany took to her Instagram Story on Friday, Feb. 27, where she revealed that one of her younger brothers, Blake Cartwright, is expecting a baby.

Brittany reposted a sweet photo taken of Blake and his wife, Kristen Cartwright, standing on a beach while holding sonogram images of their baby, announcing their big news. “My little brother and sis in law are having a baby!!!” she wrote over the photo, tagging both Blake and Kristen. “I can’t wait to be an auntie again, love you so much.”
Brittany, a Kentucky native, is one of four siblings. She has one brother and one sister, as well as two younger half-brothers from her dad’s second marriage. This means that she has nieces and nephews, including a niece, Presley, who was born in 2017, and a teenage nephew named Luke.

When it comes to her own family, Brittany has been so busy raising her son, Cruz, who was diagnosed with autism in 2025. She took to her podcast, When Reality Hits, on Jan. 30, where she shared a major update on him, revealing that Cruz has tried new foods. “So I celebrate all the milestones, all of the little things, and it’s always huge,” she said during the episode. “I know if anyone’s listening out there, that is an autism parent, you know, that is like them trying a new food. You just want to clap for them. So yeah, he’s doing great.”
She continued, sharing a major update on his speaking after he experienced speech delays. “I can tell that he’s finding his voice, and it is so beautiful to see. So give us a little bit of time, and I’m going to interview him on this podcast,” she added. “You just wait and see. But yeah, he’s doing good.”

Does Brittany Cartwright want more kids?
Brittany has admitted in the past that she does want more kids. “I always thought I would want three,” Brittany admitted during an April 2025 episode of The Valley After Show. But, Cruz has been keeping her very busy.
“Now I’m like, I might be OK with one,” she added. “[But] not because Cruz is hard — Cruz is like a little angel.”
