Shep Rose and Austen Kroll have had their ups and downs across the seasons, but now they’re taking their ups across the Atlantic.
The Southern Charm-ers of Charleston, South Carolina, recetnyl headed to The Netherlands and didn’t pass up a visit to Amsterdam’s iconic Moco Museum, as seen in a handful of Shep’s Instagram photos that even had Andy Cohen clapping in the comment section. In the first of 10 pics and video clips, Austen smiled at Shep — and Shep smiled at the camera — before a large quote painted black and white on a brick wall. It stated, “In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes.”
Shep referenced the Andy Warhol line in his caption: “I feel like we might be on minute 16, but who’s counting?”
Whitney Sudler-Smith, for his part, counted when he commented, “14:59…” beneath the photo.
Shep went on to document the tour, which included world-renowned exhibits by various artists. He also took a snap of his reflection in an Instagrammable “Person of the Year” exhibit, while Austen used thumbtacks to mark his initials in an outdoor, interactive work of art. In his post, Shep added a “we are so cultured” hashtag.
How Shep Rose and Austen Kroll are teaming up for a good cause
The European trip is just the latest in their bromance, and not only are they getting a hearty dose of culture, but they’ve also teamed up for a good cause, the Isabella Santos Foundation, as seen on Instagram.
Taking place on October 23 in Charlotte, North Carolina is the Carolina Charm cocktail event, which will provide food and entertainment, “all while supporting fertility preservation for kids with cancer,” according to the joint post.

Details on Shep Rose’s recent run-in with Andy Cohen in the Hamptons
It’s been a whirlwind summer for Shep, aside from his most recent hop-and-see across the pond. While preparing for an Alaska fishing trip, he ran into the What What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host and his son, Benjamin Allen Cohen, in the Hamptons and taught Benjamin how to fish on the beach.
Andy said the “very sweet” gesture made a lasting impression.
“I gotta tell you something; you can tell the measure of a person by how they are with your kids,” Andy said on Radio Andy. “He walked on the beach — and you know, Shep, I’ve always characterized like a Golden Retriever — but he walked on the beach, and Ben immediately ran over to him because he saw the fishing rod, and he’s like, ‘Are you going fishing?’ And Shep’s like, ‘Yeah, I’ll teach you how to do it, come here.’”
Andy continued, “He spent a really good amount of time with Ben, trying to teach him how to fish, and so did his friend. Then he let Ben bury him in the sand … It touched my heart.”
