Shep Rose’s split from Bahamian beauty queen Sienna Evans at the end of Southern Charm’s 10th season wasn’t all for nothing, because the Charleston-based business investor left with a few lessons in his pocket.
Shep and longtime pal Austen Kroll spent time on Season 11, Episode 1 searching for the perfect baby shower gift for the then-expectant mother, Madison LeCroy, and while on the topic of having children — and the maternity of Shep’s future kids — Shep shared an update about his dating life.
“My dating life? It’s active,” he said in a confessional. “I get excited easily, but usually, disappointment follows excitement. Either on their end or mine. And, you know, I’ve learned a thing or two, like, age range.”
Specifically, the 45-year-old man referred to the 18-year age gap between him and Sienna, lightheartedly continuing in his confessional, “It has increased to 28 now.”
What happened between Shep Rose and Sienna Evans?
Shep introduced audiences to the one-time Miss Bahamas pageant queen in Season 10, explaining they met via a dating app. At the time, Shep gushed, “I just think she’s so sexy. There’s nobody else that looks anything like her. And I think the whole country of the Bahamas would agree, since she is Miss Bahamas.”
However, fellow Southern Charm-ers questioned whether the two were on the same page, as far as mutual love, and tensions culminated during the Season 10 cast trip to Sienna’s hometown of Nassau in The Bahamas.
Things ended by the end of the season, and later, Shep detailed the final cracks in their relationship during an episode of the Two Ts in a Pod podcast, hosted by The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp and The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Tamra Judge. After a few back-and-forth trips between South Carolina and Nassau, there was one trip in particular that caused Shep and Sienna to take “a little break.”
In that case, Shep anticipated Sienna would visit him at his family’s Linville, North Carolina, home, only to learn she hadn’t purchased a ticket. He did so, later bringing up the subject to his other half. As Shep recalled, “I said, ‘I really need to get this off my chest… I just don’t appreciate the way that was handled. I made a lot of plans and I took care of everything … Just meet me somewhere in the middle or near the bell curve somewhere, because I’m not a desperate man who’s flying girls around.’”

Is Shep Rose dating anyone on Southern Charm Season 11?
Shep is now setting his sights on more “permanent” matters. As his official Season 11 bio states, “After his situationship with Sienna, Shep is focused on something more permanent — purchasing a new house.”
