The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Shereé Whitfield continues to show the world how she puts the “Glam” in “Glamma.”
Most recently, the She by Shereé brand maker gushed over her granddaughter, 3-year-old Mecca Joie Whitfield, during her magic-filled birthday celebration, as seen in a July 25 video on Instagram.
The cute and colorful extravaganza, themed after the animated Australian TV series Bluey, was everything a child could dream of, from balloon arches to bubble-blowing characters, and even a live-action unicorn.
Most importantly, Shereé was there to remind her only grandchild how truly loved she is. “Being a Glam muvaaa is my pride & also my biggest joy!” said the former Housewife. “I love the fact that my son has blessed me with such a beautiful angel.”
Shereé included a blue heart to match the birthday’s theme, tagging the child’s official Instagram page in what she cited as a belated post.
The birthday girl, meanwhile, sparkled in her Bluey-themed, rainbow sherbet-colored tulle dress at the party, which featured a dyed white pony wearing a costume horn, streamers, and pink hooves. Entertainers even had Mecca encased in a mega bubble, and a rabbit-petting pen was a nice touch before all guests feasted their eyes on a spectacular three-tiered cake.
“Cheers to many more birthdays to come,” Shereé continued in her post. “I love you so much.”

Who is Shereé’s granddaughter, Mecca?
The adorable Mecca is the daughter of Shereé’s only son, Kairo Whitfield, and his girlfriend, Alina (as well as the niece of Shereé’s daughters, Tierra and Kaleigh). She made her TV debut on RHOA Season 15, Episode 6, and has held a starring role in her Glamma’s life ever since she was born.
How Shereé’s granddaughter Mecca is quite the fashionista
Shereé predicted back in October 2023 that her granddaughter would be “A fashionista, like her Glamma,” and the cuteness at Mecca’s party was too much to take. Both enjoyed a sweet cheek-to-cheek moment in which the child flaunted a Bluey birthday hat, and Shereé could hardly contain her smile.
Of course, it’s not the first time Mecca showed off her style.
On February 9, Mecca’s Instagram page featured a love-filled photo with the girl sporting a red sweatshirt with a big pink heart and matching sweatpants. In another Instagram photo at the end of 2024, Mecca showed off bows in her curly hair that perfectly paired with her cream-colored, button-down sweater and printed skirt.

What is Shereé Whitfield up to in 2025?
Despite stepping away from RHOA, Shereé’s name hasn’t strayed far from the series. Andy Cohen name-dropped the Housewife on the Season 19 reunion when it came to rumors that Shereé and NBA player Charles Oakley (the husband of RHOA ’Wife Angela Oakley) dated once upon a time. In the final episode of the three-part reunion, Charles admitted they dated for “[a] couple of years.”
Shereé, for her part, hasn’t explicitly responded to the bombshell revelation.
Elsewhere, Shereé has continued moving in her spare time — literally and figuratively, with her activewear fashion line and fusing it with her active and athletic lifestyle. She showcased both passions in an Instagram post on June 16, summing up her life in just a couple of sentences, either of which could make for a perfect Housewives’ tagline.
