The Sheboygan Police Department issued a Silver Alert for a missing Wisconsin man, who vanished from an assisted living facility over the weekend.
Todd Edwin Janssen left the facility on Saturday at approximately 6:00 a.m. and has not been seen since. The facility is located at 13th and Eisner in Sheboygan.
Police say that while it is common for Janssen to leave the facility, he usually returns within a few hours.
Jansse “has significant experience with forestry and landscaping and may have been trying to get to a local golf course,” the police alert stated.
Janssen is described as a white male with blue eyes, and salt-and-pepper hair with some balding. At the time of his disappearance, Janssen had a slight beard. He stands five feet, eight inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds.
Jansee was last seen wearing a Carhartt jacket and a stocking cap.
Police say Janssen may be experiencing some confusion. He is “believed to have dementia or some other cognitive impairment.”
If you have any information on Janssen or know his whereabouts, the Sheboygan Police Department encourages you to contact them at (920) 459-3333.
