Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky continue to set the bar for co-parenting.
Fans got another glimpse at the exes’ dynamic on December 27, when their daughter Sophia Umansky uploaded a video of their cozy movie night. The clip captured Kyle and Mauricio sitting side by side in their Aspen living room, sharing a bowl of popcorn while their eyes were glued to the TV.

“They’re just kids too,” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills daughter wrote on the TikTok, which included a teary-eyed emoji. “My parents watching their little movie and eating their little popcorn on the floor like little kids.”
The candid moment was almost too adorable to handle. Even Sophia’s big sister Alexia Umansky hopped in the comments section with a simple, “Stop it.”
“They’re our babies,” Alexia added.

Sophia Umansky offers a peek at her family’s holiday celebrations
The movie night went down during Kyle and Mauricio’s annual holiday vacation in Colorado, where they were joined by Sophia and Alexia, as well as their youngest daughter, Portia Umansky, and Kyle’s firstborn, Farrah Brittany, from a previous relationship.
Since arriving in Aspen, Sophia has shared many peeks at her family’s holiday celebration, posting photos of their Christmas home decor back in Encino, shots of their decked-out Colorado abode, and their elaborate Christmas tree surrounded by dozens of wrapped gifts.

Sophia also shared an amusing TikTok in which her dad was struggling to replace batteries under the kitchen sink. As seen in the video, Mauricio spent a considerable amount of time trying to get the faucet running again while Kyle, Sophia, and Alexia playfully teased his series of fails.
“This is hard work. Did you hear that grunt?” Sophia asked while hovering over her pops. “Changing batteries is not easy these days.”
Kyle stood on the sideline reading the instruction manual, which seemingly confused Mauricio even more.
“If your backup day job was being a handyman, I don’t think you would be very successful,” Kyle said with a laugh. “Oh, my God, I’m dead. He’s been trying to change batteries for 20 minutes… You sell houses better than you change batteries.”
Mauricio eventually fixed the faucet; however, one big question remained: Why was the sink battery-operated?
“Not a single resident of this house knows the answer to this question,” Sophia responded to the inquiry.

Since announcing their split in 2023, Kyle and Mauricio have remained supportive and loving figures in each other’s lives. Their friendly dynamic has, of course, left many people wondering if the ex-couple was open to a reconciliation. Mauricio addressed the question in a November interview with The Mirror, suggesting a rekindled romance was a possibility.
“We don’t close any doors,” he told the outlet. “You never say never. Never. You never know. She’s amazing. She’s my life partner, and that’s the bottom line. And we’ve been married. We were both married super young. I was 25 years old. We were together for 27 years of success. Who knows where this goes?”
