Southern Charm alum Eliza Limehouse is ready to welcome her second child with husband, Mark “Struthers” McBride.
The Season 6 Charm-er shared the exciting news with PEOPLE, almost five years after the Christmas Eve birth of the couple’s son, Patton. This time around, Eliza and Mark are expecting a girl, who is also due around the holiday season. Said Eliza, “Struthers and I are over the moon to share that we’re expecting a baby girl, set to join us on December 20, 2025.”
Eliza, herself, will turn 30 on Christmas Day, giving the family even more to celebrate. “It’s so funny how all of these Christmas birthdays happened completely unplanned,” she stated to the outlet. “I don’t know if she’ll arrive on the 20th — she might come sooner or later — but it’s heartwarming that our birthdays are so close together during the holidays. We love Christmastime so much. We’re so excited to meet our fellow Capricorn.”
What’s more, Eliza and her husband already have a name picked out for their newest addition: Bancroft Limehouse McBride, explaining that the baby’s middle name would be her surname (because she never took her husband’s last name). Her nickname would be “Croft.”
The expectant mom continued, ”I originally thought I’d be having another boy, which is how I decided to use the name Bancroft.”
However, once she discovered she was a girl this time around, the mom said, “I couldn’t let go of the name and decided to keep it.”
Eliza Limehouse opens up about being pregnant for the second time
Eliza admitted to People that her pregnancy has “definitely been a lot harder” than when expecting Patton. The parents announced their pregnancy with Patton in October 2020, one week after Eliza and Struthers revealed they’d tied the knot in a private ceremony.

“I also am looking forward to cuddling her by the Christmas tree and the fire, with my horses peering in our windows of our little cozy farmhouse,” she stated, in part. “What I’m looking forward to, though, the most will be Patton getting to hold his little sister for the first time … I thank the Lord every day that I get to be their mom. It’s my greatest blessing and joy.”
Eliza announced her pregnancy back in August in an interview with Us Weekly. At the time, she also mentioned how excited she was for everyone to have birthdays around the same time, “I’m due around Christmas, which is funny because Patton and my birthdays are Christmas and Christmas Eve.”
How Eliza Limehouse knew her husband, Struthers McBride, was the one
Eliza began dating Struthers in April 2019, although they’d known one another for decades. They got engaged nine months later.

“This is the happiest I’ve ever been,” Eliza told PEOPLE at the time. “It’s so crazy, from the moment Struthers and I [started] dating, I knew he was the man I was going to marry. I’m not kidding you when I tell you, there were fireworks going off! And every moment since then, I’ve just fallen more and more in love with him.”
