An Oklahoma man pleaded guilty to raping his 11-year-old stepdaughter after she gave birth to his child.
Dustin Walker essentially threw himself on the mercy of the court with his plea, which comes with no deal from the prosecution, to one count of sexual abuse of a child and six counts of neglect of the rape victim and her five younger siblings, KAKE reports.
The rape victim had no prenatal care whatsoever during her pregnancy. She gave birth at home with no medical assistance.
Walker and the girl’s mother, Cherie Walker, were both arrested in August 2025, initially charged with neglect, CrimeOnline reported. They both claimed they had no idea the girl was pregnant, but after DNA tests gave a 99.9 percent certainty that Dustin Walker was the father of the girl’s baby, an additional charge was added to both — sexual abuse of a child for Dustin Walker and enabling sexual abuse for Cherie Walker.
Cherie Walker’s mother, 53-year-old Michelle Justus, was also arrested on child neglect charges. Justus first told police she thought the father of the 11-year-old’s baby was a 12-year-old boy and that the two just “got curious.”
Officials previous said all the children have been removed from the home.
“This case has been extremely difficult,” Muskogee County District Attorney Janet Hutson told KAKE. ” … My hope is that with justice, these children will find a better place.”
Hutson told KJRH she hoped “for a lengthy sentence at Dustin Walker’s sentencing, which will be decided by a judge, on June 18.
Cherie Walker and her mother are still awaiting trial and still denying they had any idea the “petite” 11-year-old girl, who delivered a full-term, normal-sized baby, was pregnant.
