Both Larsa Pippen and Stephanie Shojaee dealt with major home renovations during Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Miami, and now, Larsa is opening up about the grueling process and giving us an update on where her home stands today. But Stephanie—who is a real estate developer herself—also took a moment to poke fun at her friend, and her jacuzzi and pool (or lack thereof).
“I do want to throw Larsa under the bus, really quick,” the Shoma Group president said on The Real Housewives of Miami After Show. “When I went to her house…I was like, ‘Larsa, this does not look like it’s going to be done in like a couple of weeks.’ And she literally was like, ‘It’s going to be done!’ And then guess what, is it done?”
Larsa begrudgingly admitted, “It’s not done.”
She added, “I hired this contractor, and I thought he was going to be fast, and he’s been moving like a turtle. It’s almost done.”
Stephanie jokingly replied, “Welcome to construction in Miami.”
Larsa began moving out of her Miami penthouse and into her new home during Episode 16, despite the fact that it wasn’t quite finished (a move that Alexia Nepola called “crazy.”)
“The only thing that is done is the kitchen,” she said in the Sept. 18 episode. “The living room is still under construction. My bedroom. The backyard. It’s still under construction.”
As far as if she stayed under budget? “Hell no,” she told producers, adding, “this house cost me a fortune.”
But, the renovations were priceless when it comes to her happiness.
“This is the first house that I’ve owned by myself,” she admitted. “I get to control how I design the house. It doesn’t have to be super masculine. I just feel like this is more my vibe than the house that I had with Scottie [Pippen], so, this is a new chapter for me.”

Stephanie was taken aback when she visited Larsa on move-in day in the Sept. 18 episode.
“I was expecting to walk into a house with, you know, furniture,” Stephanie confessed. “This is definitely a job site. It’s a beautiful job site. But it’s a job site.”’
During a small housewarming party, Larsa gave Stephanie and Alexia an update on how her four children—24-year-old Scottie Jr., 22-year-old Preston, 15-year-old Sophia and 19-year-old Justin—were feeling about her move.
“They’re super excited. They can’t wait to get here,” Larsa said. “Preston graduates this year in L.A., then he’s going to be here.”
Although Larsa shared Sophia has a bedroom in her new home, there’s no plans for her to move permanently into it.
“Sophia has two more years of high school, and she doesn’t want to leave L.A.,” she added. “Sophia wants to spend time in L.A. and finish school. I can’t be that mom that’s like, ‘No, you have to come here and finish your high school here.’ It’s just not fair.”

Larsa admitted her kids are growing up and out of the nest.
“My kids at this point are on autopilot, and I feel like my kids are so well-disciplined,” she said in her confessional. “[They’re] good kids [and] it’s really made my life and my job much easier.”
Alexia asked Larsa what she was going to do with “this big house and no kids,” and suggested she could “fill it with men.”
Although Larsa didn’t quite take Alexia’s advice, she did have one man move in. In July 2025, Larsa revealed to The Daily Dish that she’s been living with her boyfriend, Jeff Coby.
“I feel like this relationship is very normal and like easy,” she shared. “And it’s not as much work as I feel like other relationships that I’ve been in have been. He’s just super easy to get along with. We like the same things. We like to work out. We like to cook… We like to spend time with family, and I feel like we just have so much fun together.”

Larsa proclaimed her home is “almost done,” during the After Show, and Stephanie added, “It looks so beautiful. It’s nothing like her little housewarming party.”
Back in July, she showed off the incredible transformation of her foyer to a bonsai garden, in a video originally shared by The Plant Guy and its owner Matthew Lang.

In January, Larsa shared video on her Instagram of her stunning new bathroom, which included a large soaking tub and floor to ceiling windows.
Larsa’s renovations also included an upgrade to her “dream closet.” She and Stephanie visited Oliver Brazilian Furniture’s Miami Beach location in the July 23 episode to map out what that dream would look like, which included “maximiz[ing] every corner” of her space.
She also hired a Miami-based company called 2id Interiors to help her decorate.
“They have literally saved my life,” she shared in Episode 7. “They are so creative and they kind of saw the vision that I wanted for my house. My apartment was really all white, and this is a little bit more earthy tones. So yeah, I like it way better.”
When will Stephanie Shojaee’s home renovations be finished?
As for Stephanie’s home renovation, while she admitted on the After Show she’s not in her house yet, she predicted it will probably be “September or October.” Larsa also poked fun at her friend’s construction timeline.
“So, when you first started telling me about your house, you’re like, ‘I’m gonna be in the house in a couple of months,’” Larsa pointed out. “So she takes me to the house. The house is completely raw. There is nothing in the house.”
But Stephanie defended the work, sharing, “I mean they put in like the flooring. They already put in probably 60 percent of the garden.”
She added, “Furniture’s been ordered.”
