For her company Christmas party on The Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 finale, host Stephanie Shojaee tapped Adriana de Moura to gift attendees with a musical performance — but there was one unseen detail the two weren’t quite in perfect harmony about.
As seen on Season 7, Episode 17, Adriana had her castmates on their feet with high-energy favorites such as “Feel the Rush” and “Fyah.” However, her new unreleased track, “I Love My Dog,” didn’t quite strike a chord with the group.
On The Real Housewives of Miami After Show, Stephanie agreed with Larsa Pippen that Adriana’s ode to her poodle, Basquiat, was “awful,” before revealing that she didn’t clear the setlist with her ahead of time.
“Oh my god, this is tea,” Stephanie began her reveal in the above clip. “So, the day of, she sends what she’s gonna put on the screen, and I remember getting a call from the marketing department. She’s like, ‘I don’t think you’re gonna be OK with this presentation.”

The Season 7 newcomer described Adriana’s original onstage visuals as including just “rando pictures” of her and Basquiat.Â
“So, I called her up and I was like, ‘Adriana, I love you and I’m super happy to have you performing, but there’s one line I’m drawing and it’s this presentation board,'” she spilled.
Stephanie said she then enlisted the Shoma marketing team to “completely fix” Adriana’s presentation, explaining, “That’s how that all came about.”

There was another issue with Adriana’s musical performance that the RHOM cast couldn’t quiet overlook: her starting the concert about 20 minutes late.
On RHOM‘s Sept. 25 episode, Stephanie worried her tardiness was “ruining” the party, while, backstage, Adriana delayed her entrance after taking issue with everything from the guest’s proximity to her piano and the lighting to the crowd noise and the fact they were snapping selfies.

“It’s very rude to show up so late and to actually try to make everything about you,” Kiki Barth, whom Stephanie honored at the event with a charitable cocktail, declared on the RHOM After Show. “I understand she’s a very good singer. I love Adriana’s song, but come on; I think it’s rude.”
Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton shared that sentiment after having “to wait for her” to take the stage.
The RHOM cast gives honest reviews of Adriana de Moura’s finale event song
Though the ladies seemed to enjoy her show as a whole, Adriana’s “I Love My Dog” song received mixed reviews, as previously mentioned.
In addition to Stephanie and Larsa admitting that they weren’t fans of the number, Alexia and Marysol also slammed the track on the After Show. As Marysol offered, “I think it would’ve been more entertaining if she had barked to the tune.”
While Kiki acknowledged that the crowd wasn’t quite feeling the “funny” dog song, she committed to cheering on Adriana’s “best” effort, nonetheless.
“I want to be supportive as possible,” Kiki added. “It was cute. I like it. I was dancing to it. How do you dance to a dog song?”
Either way, she applauded Adriana’s ability to “take a classic song and make it about a dog,” predicting that canine enthusiasts are “gonna love” it.
Guerdy Abraira, for her part, similarly referred to “I Love My Dog” as “so cute,” while further describing Adriana’s whole set as “unbelievable.”
Finally, Lisa Hochstein even offered to jump on a remix, adding, “That song is needed ’cause I don’t think there’s a hit song out there about dogs. Dogs are important.”
