Blood is boiling in a Sneak Peek of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys Season 2, and with millions of dollars at stake, there’s no telling how deep the betrayal will go.
As a massive $6 million collection deadline acts as a black cloud over the McBees’ Missouri farm, Steven McBee Jr. grows livid at little brother Cole McBee’s decision to sign a land lease behind his back. Cole admitted to signing a “damn good lease” in the teaser, but it was enough to fuel tempers and nearly bring the brothers into an all-out throwdown.
“You think you’re the big boy now?” Steven angrily asks Cole. “You wanna cut that check?”
Learn more about the teaser and what to know about the brothers ahead of the show’s second season, debuting on Bravo on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 9/8c and streaming the next day on Peacock.
The McBee brothers are battling for the crown
With their father Steven McBee Sr. no longer in the picture, Steven Jr. has taken the reins of the multi-million-dollar farm and cattle ranch to try and save it from financial ruin. He and his younger — and sometimes rowdy — brothers, including Cole, Jesse McBee, and Brayden McBee, must come together to save their family’s legacy.
However, based on our first glimpses at the season, it doesn’t go as smoothly as some might hope. In fact, Steven Jr. said Cole “just went rogue” by not even telling the family about the secret lease.
Cole signs a lease behind Steven Jr.’s back
Cole defended his decision and said Jesse would have supported him, too. He hoped the same from Steven Jr., who perhaps should have trusted Cole’s judgment and intentions for the family-owned business a little bit better.
“It’s literally in our home county,” he told the eldest McBee. “I know what good ground is. I’ve been all across this country three times. I’ve been across Northern Missouri. I’ve been on every farm up here, and that’s a farm right there that we should pick up every day of the week.”
After all, Cole did do his research. Video clips show him speaking with other farm owners, inspecting drainage ditches, and investigating the recent growing patterns of soybeans and corn.
But it was all too little, too late to settle Steven Jr.’s ire.
“You think you’re the f—— boss? You wanna start signing every single check and see how tight things are? You wanna start talking to the banks?” Steven Jr. continued.
Cole insisted he signed the lease on a “money-making farm,” but by the way Steven Jr. rolled his eyes and shook his head, big brother was less than convinced. He asked Cole why he wasn’t “tired of working seven days a week to barely break even,” adding that placing focus on meat required a third of the work of crop farming and “none of the risk.”
As seen in Season 1, now available to watch on Peacock, the McBees struggled the previous year to keep the farm afloat due to unpredictable weather.
“I’m not gonna get screamed at like this after I’m just doing what’s right for the farm,” Cole told producers. “Steven is just so convinced there’s no money in [crops] when I think our best years are yet to come.”
It’s mounting stress for Steven Jr. as he does his best to fill his father’s shoes and meet their outstanding dues, and Cole, now expecting his first child with girlfriend Kacie Adkison. But will blood prove to be thicker than water?
