The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Sutton Stracke revealed shocking new details about her ex-husband Christian Stracke’s current partner, who is also her former friend. After dropping the update during Season 15, Episode 11, Sutton spilled more tea on Christian’ssignificant other on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show.Â
By Sutton’s account, her and Christian’s two sons, James and Philip Stracke, were “best friends” with this woman’s boys. “We had been friends since James was in kindergarten,” she said, referring to her now-19-year-old son. “And then I was in a friend group, still, with her. And we would talk about my divorce.”
Following Sutton and Christian’s divorce in 2016, James and Philip, 22, would even go on vacations with the woman, who was still married at the time, as well as her family.

“She had gotten divorced, and then I found out that they were dating, about six months later,” Sutton added, before noting that she did not confront her ex-husband about the situation right away.
“My son had told me. He said, ‘I’m telling you this in confidence, Mommy, and so please don’t tell Daddy that I told you,'” she recalled. “I didn’t say a word. … I waited until I got the first annulment letter, and I said, ‘I think there’s some things that you need to tell me, Christian.'”
On RHOBH‘s Feb. 26 episode, Sutton opened up about being “shocked” to learn Christian was dating her longtime friend: “I think the biggest betrayal was that neither one of them told me about the relationship. I had to hear it from my son.”

Sutton also claimed on the RHOBH After Show that her children (who also include daughter Porter Stracke, 23), meanwhile, are similarly “uncomfortable” with their dad’s new romance.
“They still go on their trips, and she’s there,” Sutton continued. “They’re good kids and they’re polite, so that’s how they’re gonna be. James opted out of their trip to Venice this Christmas. He was like, ‘I’m gonna stick with you, Mommy.'”

While Sutton insisted that she doesn’t miss Christian, she admitted that she does miss their family life, however.
“It’s really about the children. I think, more than anything,” Sutton elaborated. “It’s like you want that unit back. They’re not sad about their parents. They all kind of understand that we are not supposed to live in the same house together. They’re OK now. It’s been like nine years.”

Elsewhere on the After Show, Sutton also shared that she’d spent some time with Christian in Georgia over the holidays. She explained that her ex happened to be in Augusta, where his parents still live, and so he “came by the house” and also had Christmas breakfast at her brother’s home.
After revealing that Christian’s partner was not with him for the celebrations, Sutton unpacked the “boundaries” she had set about interacting with her former friend. When they took James to school in South Carolina as a family, for example, she had to make sure the woman would not be joining them.
“I couldn’t have taken that,” Sutton confessed. “And then when Philip did his Ring Ceremony at The Citadel, you know, we were in the same beach house together. And I was just like… she can’t come. Like, if she comes, that’s fine, but we can’t be in the same beach house together. I’m not ready to do a weekend in the same house. …Â I think that’s a forever boundary.”
As Sutton pointed out, she’d known Christian since she was 13 years old. “His love was very, like, passionate for me,” she said. “And passionate love can be equally as impassioned. … When it turns, it’s not good.”
Sutton further shared that she and her ex “had to work very hard,” before she got to the point where she could “do family stuff with him” again. She concluded, “Now I’m like, OK, I can handle it now.”
