The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Sutton Stracke is getting candid about her former BFF Garcelle Beauvais and ex-assistant Avi Gabay.
Asked if she has any “regrets” about either relationship on the Jan. 8 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Sutton said no, that’s not the case.
“I don’t have any regrets,” she began. “I look back at my friendship with Garcelle so fondly, and I had just really, really great memories with her.”
That said, “I wish that I had a better ending, you know? Like a face-to-face ending,” Sutton added of Garcelle, who severed all contact with (most of) the RHOBH cast upon her Season 14 exit.
As for Avi, Sutton doubled down on previous statements that her decision to terminate his employment wasn’t a personal one. “We were friends, then he was an employee, and so when we parted ways when I let him go,” Sutton explained. “That’s a professional thing, and I had to keep it professional. And that’s just how it went.”
Sutton’s fellow WWHL guest, The Valley: Persian Style’s Mercedeh “MJ” Javid, wanted to know if Sutton had any desire to “reach out” to Garcelle or Avi. Her response? “No.”

Cast members who found themselves befuddled by Garcelle and Sutton’s fallout were equally perplexed by Sutton’s decision to fire the beloved Avi after about two years, as featured in the Season 15 premiere. Sutton explained her decision on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, unable to grapple with why some took “such an issue” with the business deal.
“Avi and I had a great run, but things come to an end,” she said. “I was coming to a point in my life where no children were going to be in my house; I didn’t have a storefront that needed tending to. So, it was just time. And you know, we had run our course … I just didn’t need anybody in my house all the time.”
Elsewhere on the After Show, Sutton said she was “surprised” that sending Avi on his way would mean a loss of contact with her former pal.

Still, it didn’t go unnoticed by the cast when Garcelle and Avi met up on the red carpet for the LA premiere of Taken at a Truck Stop: A Black Girl Missing Movie, starring and executive produced by Garcelle. (Garcelle posted an Instagram photo of them together the next day on Oct. 18).
“Well, it seemed like there was an absolute agenda,” Kyle Richards said to RHOBH newcomer Amanda Frances on the After Show. “They both, Garcelle and Avi, knew that taking that photo together, it would go everywhere, and it would spark questions and commentary and all of that. So, you know what? They were successful.”
Garcelle and Sutton’s mutual friend, Jennifer Tilly, agreed the move “did seem a little bit deliberate.”

Sutton shared in a recent interview with The Daily Dish that she was still “taken aback” by Garcelle’s decision to put an end to their once-super-close friendship. She claimed to have sent Garcelle numerous messages after Garcelle’s Season 14 reunion walk-off.
For her part, Garcelle told Andy on the Oct. 23 episode of WWHL that she felt unsupported by Sutton after several heated exchanges during the three-part event, calling their friendship “completely over.” As she put it, “Not only did she not have my back, she also, when she called me, never took accountability for it. That hurt my feelings a lot … We were really close. My kids would call her, you know? We were really close.”
