Tamra Judge and her husband, Eddie Judge, have made some major changes to their vacation house in Big Bear since they purchased it in 2023. The home, nestled in the mountains and close to the lake nearby, has become a place for rest and relaxation for The Real Housewives of Orange County couple. And now, they’re enjoying all of the fruits of their labor.

“We renovated the entire inside,” Tamra explained during a recent exclusive interview with The Daily Dish. “We had somebody come and live in the house and gutted it. It had not been remodeled since the ’80s, so everything in the inside’s done.”
But now, they’re putting much more focus and attention into the outside of the home after repainting the exterior last year. “Now, we’ve moved onto the outdoors, painted it, redid the deck, put in grass, like, did all the things, and we just love it so much,” she said.
Although the couple had originally purchased it for “investment purposes,” they’ve since come around to spending more time there. “Now we’re like, ‘Oh man, we really like it up here.’ Like, we’re there all the time. We go [one] week on, [one] week off,” she added.
Tamra Judge opens up about the renovations in her Big Bear house
During RHOC Season 18, Episode 5, Tamra brought several cast members to the house in Big Bear, where they took in all of the sights of the home, located in the Southern California mountains. During a confessional, Tamra detailed all of the work that she and Eddie did to the house.
“I personally took off all the wallpaper throughout the house, we knocked down walls, ripped out the kitchen,” she noted. “We renovated the entire downstairs.”

Before and after photos were shown during the episode, showing how the couple painted the cabinets in the kitchen, added new countertops, painted their ceilings, and did some other simple renovations.Â

“Since CUT Fitness has closed, Eddie’s long-term plan is to move to Big Bear full-time, but I don’t know that I want to be a mountain woman,” she said. “I want to go back and forth. It’s so nice to be in Orange County and have that fast-paced lifestyle, and then go to Big Bear for a week and just be chill and calm. I need both.”
