Tamra Judge is sharing a rare update on her only grandchild, Ava, on her 11th birthday. The Real Housewives of Orange County mom of four has so much love for her kids and granddaughter, and is giving a look into their relationship today.
Tamra is officially the grandmother to a pre-teen, and she could not be more excited about this, taking to social media to celebrate Ava’s 11th birthday. Tamra took to her Instagram Story on Feb. 9, where she posted so many photos of Ava over the years. Tamra first re-posted a series of photos and a video from Ava’s birth. “Can’t believe Ava is 11 years old,” the RHOC cast member wrote over the photos. “Where has the time gone?!”
She then proceeded to show the passage of time in a collage filled with photos of Ava and her from the past decade. In the pictures, Tamra can be seen smiling next to her granddaughter throughout the years. “Wish she was still this little,” she added.
The Two T’s in a Pod host also posted a photo of Ava more recently, revealing that she has grown so much. “Now she’s almost taller than me!” Tamra noted. “Time please slow down. Happy 11th Birthday, Ava!”
Tamra Judge opens up about her life as a grandma
Tamra’s granddaughter Ava was born on Feb. 9, 2015. Tamra took to Instagram at the time, where she shared the first pictures of Ava, along with a super sweet message about her granddaughter. “She has her momma’s eyes and her daddy’s cheeks,” she wrote in the caption of the post.
Tamra has shared so many updates about Ava’s life over the past decade, taking to Instagram over the years to wish her a happy birthday. In August 2025, Tamra told The Daily Dish that “everything’s good” with her family and with Ava. “She’s doing great!” she explained. “She’s 10 years old. Ten years old, which is unbelievable.”

Tamra Judge shares updates on her children today
Tamra continued, opening up to The Daily Dish about all four of her children which includes Ava’s dad, Ryan, in addition to her daughters Sophia and Sidney Barney, and her son, Spencer Barney. Tamra admitted that “everything’s good” with Sophia, who had made some appearances alongside her on RHOC Season 19.
“She has a boyfriend now and talks about possibly moving to New York one day,” she explained in the 2025 interview. “You know, she’s trying to figure it out. She’s doing her general ed[ucation] at community college and then she’s moving out.”
Tamra also noted that Spencer was doing “good,” too. “I’m very blessed,” she noted.
