According to WESH, Taylen and his mother were last seen alive on March 29. Three hours after they were last seen, neighbors reportedly heard a commotion in the vicinity of their apartment but the police were not called.
Police said that after killing the pair, Thomas allegedly went to his mother’s home with wounds on his hands that were consistent with a stabbing. WFLA reported that a bloody fingerprint on a bottle of cleaning solution belonged to Thomas.
An AMBER Alert was issued for Taylen after his mother’s body was found. Thomas, who was hospitalized for his injuries, did not cooperate with the search.
