Teen Accused of Killing Ex-Girlfriend and Her Mom Pleads Not Guilty – Crime Online

An 18-year-old Pennsylvania man was arraigned Thursday on charges of homicide and theft in the September 2023 deaths of his ex-girlfriend and her mother.

John Bradley — who was 17 when he’s accused of stabbing and strangling 16-year-old Rianna Glass, stabbing 39-year-old Rosalyn Glass, and stealing the older woman’s car — pleaded not guilty, Lehigh Valley News reported.

Bradley appeared in court for the brief hearing and spoke only through his court-appointed attorney, Molly Heidorn.

More than two dozen friends and family of the victims were present in the courtroom, many wearing shirts bearing a photograph of the mother and daughter.

At a previous hearing in November, Bradley agreed to waive his right to a preliminary hearing, a move sought by prosecutors to avoid have to show graphic photos and videos in  open court. In exchange, prosecutors agreed to provide discovery to the defense earlier than normal.

Investigators say Bradley killed Rianna and Rosalyn Glass in their North Catasauqua home on September 14 after learning that Rianna was dating someone else. He then stole Rosalyn Glass’s car and eventually crashed it about 15 miles away in Upper Saucon Township. Inside the car was a 14-year-old girl that investigators say was at the crime scene at some point.

That girl was seriously injured, WFMZ reported. In November, prosecutors said she had suffered a traumatic brain injury, and investigators had been unable to talk with her about the crimes. The prosecutor said then that the girl would require extensive physical therapy before she’s able to communicate. It’s not clear what has happened with her since that time.

Bradley was also injured in the crash and was housed at an adult jail, which had better facilities for the medical treatment he needed.

Bradley’s trial is scheduled to begin in October.
