A teen accused of shooting five people at a Colorado bar before fleeing the state has been captured in California, police say.
According to The Messenger News, police arrested 17-year-old Keanna Rosenburgh in Barstow, California, on Thursday and charged her with eight counts of first-degree attempted murder.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, police said Rosenburgh tried to get into Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row in Denver last month, but security turned her away after determining the identification was fake. She left, then returned to speak with security again. When she left a second time, she allegedly pulled out a gun and shot toward the club.
Five people were wounded in the the shooting, and three other people were in the area at the time but were not struck. All of the victims survived.

Community members helped identify the suspect through Metro Denver Crime Stopper, which led police to Barstow, a few hours away from Los Angeles, according to the Denver Police Department. FBI’s Los Angeles SWAT Team, along with the Desert Cities Safe Streets Task Force assisted police in locating Rosenburgh.
Police haven’t released the arrest affidavit, reportedly due to Rosenburgh’s age. Check back for updates.
