It’s been one year since Teresa Giudice posted that photoshopped photo of her and Larsa Pippen on the latter’s birthday. And now The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member is offering a look at where they stand today, 12 months later.
The mom of four took to her Instagram Story recently, where she posted the original photo of her and Larsa, wearing the same bathing suits on the set of House of Villains Season 2, where they were both cast members. In the photo, both Teresa and The Real Housewives of Miami cast member can be seen standing on the edge of a hot tub, wearing one-piece swimsuits, sunglasses, and posing for the camera.
“Happy Birthday [Larsa Pippen]. Wishing you all the best. Love you,” she wrote over the photo, along with a cake, red heart, and champagne bottle emoji.
Larsa returned the love to her friend by reposting the photo of her Story.

Teresa caused so much commotion in 2024 when she posted a photo of her and Larsa in their bathing suits to Instagram. But, upon closer inspection, people noticed that the photo had been cut out and pasted onto a beach backdrop.Â
Larsa was grateful for the tribute, taking to the comments of the post to return her love to Teresa. “Love you so much,” she wrote.Â

At the time, Teresa shared her reasoning for editing the photo, admitting that she “didn’t like the background,” so she had her assistant change the photo for her. But, during a June episode of her podcast, Turning the Tables, on which Larsa was a guest, Teresa shared the real reasoning for the editing fail, noting that the photo had been taken on the set of House of Villains Season 2, before it aired.

“We took that photo in the backyard by the swimming pool,” she said. “And then I was like, ‘Oh my God, but we can’t show the background.’ So then my assistant was in Mexico. She’s like, ‘I could put the beach in the background.’ I’m like, Perfect. Put the beach in the background.’ Cause I’m like, ‘We had bathing suits on anyway.’ And then it went viral.”

During her podcast episode with Larsa, the RHOM cast member opened up about what makes their friendship work. “You know what’s funny — we have so much fun together,” she explained. “We laugh so much when we’re together. We cook well together. We just have a lot of similarities. I just feel like our lives are basically the same in so many ways.”

“Our culture, like we’re all about our family and our kids and everything. Yeah, we had fun,” Teresa added. “I loved being with her in House of Villains. Like, living with her. I wanted to stay with her longer. It was like a fun sleepover.”
