BATON ROUGE, La. (TCN) — The TikToker accused of killing a therapist and leaving his body on the side of a highway was recently denied bond.
According to WBRZ-TV, Terryon Thomas, also known as “Mr. Prada” on social media, appeared in court several months ago. On July 10, a judge reportedly denied his request for bail “unless he gets new information for his consideration.”
Authorities first discovered 69-year-old William Abraham’s body on Sept. 29, 2024, wrapped in a tarp on the side of a highway, the Tangipaho Parish Sheriff’s Office said. The coroner’s office determined Abraham died of blunt force trauma.
In a statement obtained by WAFB-TV, Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Gerald Sticker called it a “very physical and very violent attack,” adding, “He was bludgeoned about in the head, shoulders, and neck. There was a lot of bruising, what have you.”
The sheriff’s office posted surveillance pictures of the last person known to have been driving Abraham’s car. The driver of the vehicle allegedly sped away from a traffic stop, crashed, and fled from authorities on foot.
Investigators later identified Thomas as the primary suspect in Abraham’s death. The sheriff’s office announced Oct. 3, 2024, that he was arrested in Dallas and charged with second-degree murder and obstruction of justice. According to WBRZ, Thomas’ charge was upgraded to first-degree murder because of the victim’s age.
Thomas is scheduled to appear in court again in October.
