‘Today’ Show Host Savannah Guthrie’s Mother Remains Missing, Home an Active Crime Scene – Crime Online

Police in Arizona say there is evidence of a crime at the home of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, identified as “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie’s mother.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Nancy Guthrie was last seen in the Catalina Foothills area, outside of Tucson, shortly before 10 p.m. on Saturday, at her home off of East Skyline Drive and North Campbell Avenue.

On Sunday, investigators “saw some things at the home that were concerning to us,” Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said, FOX News Digital reports. Foul play has not been ruled out.

“She did not leave on her own, we know that.”

The sheriff’s department, along with the FBI, continue to search for Griffith, who reportedly has mobility issues but no cognitive dysfunction.

Search and rescue teams, including dogs and air assets, are assisting in the search.

“Today” published a statement from Savannah Guthrie.

“On behalf of our family, I want to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers and messages of support,” she said. “Right now, our focus remains on the safe return of our dear mom.

Nancy Guthrie is described as a white female who stands 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.

“We thank law enforcement for their hard work on this case and encourage anyone with information to contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at (520) 351-4900,” Savannah Guthrie added.
