Tom Sandoval and The Valley’s Kristen Doute have come a long way since their Vanderpump Rules days.
Over the BravoCon 2025 weekend in Las Vegas, the Tom Tom bar owner and former SURver spoke with Decider and spilled details about running into his ex-girlfriend and her fiancé, Luke Broderick, during the three-day event. All in all, Tom said it was a most positive experience when meeting them during check-in. What’s more, Tom also got to see the couple’s daughter, Kaia Lily Broderick.
“Totally, I saw the beh-bey,” Tom told the outlet. What’s more, he dove into what it was like to see Kristen navigate life as a first-time mom. “Ah, it’s great,” he said. “I just love seeing people sort of evolve into themselves.”

Of course, as fans well know, Kristen and Tom entered the Bravo scene as an established couple when Vanderpump Rules began in 2013, their relationship dating back to 2007. VPR Seasons 1 and 2 saw the ups and downs of the live-in couple, which included cheating accusations.
In the show’s sophomore season, Kristen accused Tom of cheating on her with his soon-to-be longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix, and Kristen copped to having a sexual relationship with Sandoval’s then-BFF Jax Taylor (the latter of whom was dating Kristen’s then-BFF, Stassi Schroeder).

Things were over by the time Season 2 concluded. It’s now water under the bridge for Tom and Kristen.
Tom Sandoval shares an update about his relationship with Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick
On June 24, following his band’s audition for America’s Got Talent, Tom spoke to E! News, revealing that Kristen reached out to him soon after she and Luke welcomed their daughter earlier that month. He said he congratulated Kristen on Kaia’s birth, detailing the inner workings of their enduring friendship.

“We talk to each other from time to time. Especially Luke, I see him often…We’ve been through a lot together,” Tom revealed. “The outpouring of support, I feel so blessed and lucky to have friends like that who are giving me so much love. It’s been really awesome. I appreciate it.”
Less than a year before, on Kristen and Luke’s Balancing Act podcast, Luke touched on seeing Tom from time to time. As Luke described in the August 2024 episode, “Tom and I have had fun. We run into each other at the bar more times than we planned to hang out. That kind of describes it. But when we’ve been together, we’ve had a good time and he’s been the same person to me.”
