Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz are sharing some major updates on their friendship with Jax Taylor. The Vanderpump Rules alums had been best friends for a very long time, and still maintain their friendship to this day.
Tom Sandoval appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Tuesday, March 3, where he revealed that he still talks to Tom Schwartz and Jax from VPR. “I talk to Jax,” Tom Sandoval told Andy Cohen. “I talked to Jax last night, yeah.”
Tom Sandoval had previously opened up to The Daily Dish in November, where he reiterated his connection to The Valley alum, who tends to keep a much lower profile today. “Yeah, I just talked to Jax the other day,” Tom Sandoval noted.
Tom Schwartz shared more details about Jax’s life today during a Feb. 25 episode of his podcast, Detox Retox with Tom Schwartz. “I don’t want to speak for him, because I think he’s been keeping a low profile. But I’ll say based on what I’ve seen, he’s doing really well,” The Valley Season 3 cast member admitted.
He continued, noting that Jax has also been very focused on his sobriety. “He’s very, he’s dialed in on his sobriety,” he added. “And yeah, man, he’s put a lot of work into himself. But I don’t want to say too much because he’s been purposefully keeping a low profile.”

Tom Schwartz reveals he no longer lives next to Jax Taylor
Tom Schwartz also confirmed during the episode that Jax no longer lives next door to him after he moved out of his California townhouse. “Jax actually just moved about a week ago. He got a new place,” Tom Schwartz stated, noting that Jax now has a “fresh start.”
He admitted that while he lived next door to him, Jax was a “great neighbor.” “He was so peaceful. I never heard a peep out of him,” Schwartz added. “He was such a good neighbor.”

Jax Taylor shares details on his recent move from his townhouse
Jax took to Instagram on Feb. 17, where he first revealed that he was moving out of his place, which shared a wall with Tom Schwartz. Although he did not share any details about where he was moving to, he did document his moving process, showing him loading boxes into a moving van and waving goodbye to Tom Schwartz through his window. “New chapter,” he wrote in the caption of the post. “Here’s to new beginnings.”
He also took to his Instagram Story, where he posted a photo standing outside of his old place, leaning against moving boxes. “All done,” he wrote over the photo.
