Vanderpump Rules’ Tom Schwartz is adding some acting creds to his name, and it’s all thanks to Lukas Gage, who recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
The Euphoria and White Lotus actor revealed on the Oct. 15 episode that he “got Tom Schwartz his first acting job” this year. Inquiring minds, not excluding Andy Cohen, wanted to know more, to which the I Wrote This for Attention memoirist told the live audience, “Guys, I did this movie called Love Language, where me and the writer, we talked about [how] we just refer to Vanderpump Rules the whole entire movie.”
Lukas, once rumored to be dating Schwartz’s ex-wife, Katie Maloney, a few years back, described the upcoming film as a romantic comedy starring actress and Bravo fan Chloë Grace Moretz. In it, Tom reportedly plays himself, sharing the screen with Billie Lourd, Manny Jacinto, Anthony Ramos, and others, according to Deadline.
“He’s not bad. He was actually good,” Lukas continued to Andy. “He was excited to be there … We like Tom.”
Has Tom Schwartz acted before?
Tom previously played himself on Stars on Mars and had uncredited bit parts in the sitcom Two and a Half Men and HBO’s True Blood, according to his IMDB profile.
What’s more, Tom said on the June 10 episode of the Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe podcast that he did theatre in high school. He said it was a hidden secret, claiming, “I don’t know why, I felt ashamed of it. I felt, like, too egotistical, or I was like, ‘Why would I deserve to be an actor?’ Like I was, in an uncanny way, almost aware of the long-shot odds of making it in Hollywood as a young lad, but I always wanted to be an actor.”
Part of it had to do with being the grandson of actor and comedian, Woody Woodbury. As Tom explained, “I think I got a quarter of that … I had a quarter of a fire burning in me from a very young age.”

All the details on Tom Schwartz’s career
The WWHL revelation about Tom’s future as an actor comes days after he admitted to Lala Kent on her Untraditionally Lala podcast that he dropped an “insane” six-figure sum, upward of $600,000, into the doomed Schwartz & Sandy’s Lounge he once co-owned with VPR’s Tom Sandoval.
Though that bar is now closed, and Schwartz and Sandoval’s Tom Tom bar in WeHo has remained up and running since 2018.
Schwartz also host his Detox Retox with Tom Schwartz podcast, which launched in April.
Ultimately, Lukas spilling Tom’s film news could be a taste of the Minnesota-raised Bravoleb exploring his creative side. After all, he told The Valley’s Michelle Saniei on the May 19 episode of her Pursuit of Sassiness podcast that getting into the arts may be the way to go.
“There’s part of me — I don’t know if I’ve ever said this publicly — that wants to be an artist,” he explained. “Will I ever pursue painting as a career? Do I have any talent? Not really. But you know what the definition of an artist is? ‘Hey, I could do that.’ ‘Yeah, but you didn’t.’ It’s just you’ve got to start. And I love painting.”
Those who know Tom from the earliest days on VPR know it wouldn’t be the first time he followed his heart. After all, he did study medicine before leaving the University of Florida to pursue acting, before his early modeling days.
