Even though Jason Cohen bared all — sometimes literally — on Vanderpump Rules Season 12, there was still at least one aspect of his and Angelica Jensen’s short-lived romance that viewers never saw.
In a previously unaired moment from Peacock’s extended and uncensored version of VPR‘s Reunion Part 2, Jason opened up about the reason he was actually “really happy” that Angelica moved on so quickly from him with Shayne Davis.
“This wasn’t revealed on the show, but we had a party before, and we were playing Spin the Bottle,” Jason explained. “And Angelica said, ‘Truth or dare?’ to me. I said, ‘Truth.’ She said, ‘Would you kiss me?’ And I said, ‘No.'”

That’s when previously unseen footage from Season 12 rolled, confirming that Angelica had asked Jason a hypothetical question about kissing her during a party. He replied, “I want to, but it’s too fast. … I’m not that easy, baby.” Her response? “He’s a good person, y’all.”
Back on the reunion stage, Jason continued, “I really didn’t want to just kiss you because I don’t know you yet. … I’m not attracted to somebody that just kisses somebody so quick, so that’s why I didn’t kiss you so quick. And for me, I like to take my time.”
Jason Cohen pinpointed when he saw Angelica Jensen’s “true colors”
As host Andy Cohen pointed out, Angelica and Shayne “got hot and heavy within minutes of her ending things with Jason.” Even so, Shayne denied that he broke “bro code” in any way, claiming that he “actually did ask Jason” before pursuing the SUR hostess.
“It was quick, but I know Angelica moves very fast,” Shayne reasoned. “I knew it was like somebody might get her tonight, so I had to quickly jump on.”

After confirming that Shayne did, indeed, seek his approval before romancing Angelica, Jason further chimed in, “See, I’m really happy you did do that, ’cause then you get to see true colors of somebody else’s actions.”
Clarifying that he was referring to Angelica, Jason continued commenting on her and Shayne’s hookup: “I think it was a little too quick, I gotta say, but I’m happy he did it.”
A bit later, Jason addressed Angelica directly, telling her, “When you kissed Shayne, that’s when you exposed that part of you. And I just thought, hey, that’s not somebody I’m attracted to.”Â

From Angelica’s perspective, once she’d told Jason that she “just wanted to be friends,” she was in the clear to pursue Shayne, regardless of how much time had pissed. Plus, as the SUR hostess added, she wanted to “start to move on from this situation” with Jason as quickly as possible.
When Jason clapped back, claiming that Angelica had tried to “brutalize [his] character with the penis pump thing,” in addition to “kissing somebody so quick,” she clarified that their other drama all happened after she locked lips with Shayne.
“At that point, though, I told you clearly that I just wanted to be friends,” Angelica explained to Jason, adding that she’d also discussed her romantic interest in Shayne with Natalie Maguire, before anything happened between them.
She elaborated, “I don’t see Shayne often, so we were all there together, and I was like, I’m going to make my move.”
As for the infamous penis pump drama with Jason, Angelica insisted that she “wasn’t judgy.” She went on to add that embarrassing him in front of boss Lisa Vanderpump “was not the intention at all,” but rather, she simply “thought it was hilarious to say.”
