The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward for information that leads to the whereabouts of fugitive Virginia high school football coach, Travis Turner.
According to FOX 8, USMS is offering a “reward of up to $5,000 for information” that leads to Turner, who is facing five counts of child pornography possession.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, he was last seen November 20, wearing gray sweatpants, and gray shirt and glasses.
Turner, the head football coach at Union High School in Big Stone Gap, reportedly left into a wooded area near the residence in Appalachia, with a firearm.
Later that evening, Turner’s wife, concerned about him not returning home, contacted law enforcement and reported her husband missing.
Police have been focusing on the wooded area where Turner was last seen, utilizing K-9 units and drones.
Turner has since been removed from the staff member website at the high school.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Virginia State Police Division 4 at 276-484-9483 or send an email [email protected]. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
