The tragic event unfolded on Saturday, March 16, 2024, with Gordon allegedly taking the lives of three family members, including his stepmother, Karen Gordon, and 13-year-old sister, Kera Gordon, before fleeing in a stolen vehicle.

Law enforcement launched an extensive manhunt, ultimately locating Gordon at a residence on Phillips Avenue in Trenton, New Jersey. Although initially believed to be barricaded inside, Gordon had managed to evade the perimeter and escape before authorities fully established it. However, he was peacefully apprehended around 5:30 p.m. on the same day, without any reported injuries or resistance, as he walked along New York Avenue.

Following his arrest, Gordon faces multiple charges, including carjacking, possession of illegal firearms, and receiving stolen property. It’s disclosed that Gordon was acquainted with the victims and is presently homeless, with connections to Trenton, New Jersey.

The incident prompted a shelter-in-place directive in Falls Township, the cancellation of the Bucks County St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and temporary business closures, illustrating the profound impact on local communities. Gordon’s arrest underscores law enforcement’s dedication to apprehending violent offenders, emphasizing the dangers posed by illegal firearms and the imperative of ensuring community safety.
