Summer House cast members West Wilson and Amanda Batula are still close friends today, following her split from Kyle Cooke. West appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Tuesday, March 24, where he addressed their friendship and responded to rumors that he and Amanda are more than friends.
West told the host, Andy Cohen, that he and Amanda are just friends. “She’s single now, and I gotta show her the streets a little bit,” he said, clarifying that the hangouts are strictly platonic. “If it’s not clear, that’s a very important person to me, and I care about her a lot,” he continued. “That’s a friend. Hope that’s clear.”
Apparently, there are rumors of romances with other people as well. “She’s single now, and it’s happened to other people she’s hanging out with,” West explained.

West also commented on how Amanda and Kyle have changed since they announced their separation. “I think there’s a lightness almost to both of them since that,” he admitted. “I think that they both feel lighter. So I think it’s better.”

Amanda has been open about the fact that she is ready to date now that she and Kyle are separated. But, she is staying away from the men of Summer House. Amanda had previously appeared on WWHL on Feb. 3, where she clarified that she could “never” see herself dating her Summer House cast members, including West.

When Kyle appeared on WWHL on Tuesday, March 10, he referred to the romance rumors surrounding his estranged wife as “noise.”

“I mean, it takes effort because there’s a lot of noise,” he said. “But she’s been very supportive. I try to be there for her, especially with some of the rumors that she’s kind of entangled with. It’s not easy, there’s no playbook for this, but we’re trying.”
