Summer House’s West Wilson is shedding new light on his dating life, as rumors continue to swirl around Season 10.
The Missouri-bred sports journalist recently opened up in an Elite Daily interview published on Feb. 10, explaining the best way to be a bachelor in the Big Apple. “I’m not the spokesperson for dating by any means, but I think being content on your own is really important,” he said. “Once you have that mastered, a relationship is a plus.”
He continued, “Needing a relationship feels like filling a void, and needing to be content to be in a relationship isn’t the healthiest way to prioritize things in your life. If you’re a happy single person, then once that relationship happens, it’s just an extra bonus on a cup that’s already full.”
Later, he posted a playful photo of himself smiling in bed with the caption, “My room is cold. My cup is so full,” as shared by the outlet on Instagram.
Although West didn’t divulge on his Bravoleb trysts, he admitted to making “a zillion” mistakes in his dating life and said he was “actively learning” as he goes. And, widening the scope of what he looks for in a woman, he had an interesting answer as to what he found “hottest” about a potential partner.
“This is crazy, but finish your DoorDash order,” he said. “I’ll always pay, but if we’re ordering $90 worth of Chinese, you’ve got to go to work with me. I find it to be a turn-on when girls are ready to f–king grub. It’s awesome. And that’s intimate — it’s not like a nice restaurant where everyone has to have manners. You’re eating off a coffee table on the side of the couch, with no rules.”
Where West Wilson and Ciara Miller stand as Summer House Season 10 airs
As fans well know, West and Ciara Miller had a gnarly breakup in Season 8, though the Season 10 trailer teased a possible reconciliation — if not, then at least some serious canoodling — between the exes.

In an interview earlier this month with Entertainment Tonight, Ciara said it was a “huge” deal that they were on speaking terms after ignoring each other for some time.
“I feel like we made a lot of headway this summer, and it will be interesting to see it all play out,” she said.
Salley Carson addresses her brief fling with West Wilson
Meanwhile, Southern Charm’s Salley Carson addressed dating rumors on the Feb. 11 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, admitting that when it came to Shep Rose or West, she’d rather repeat a hookup with West “for sure.”

Andy Cohen asked for clarification on how many times she and West hung out. “Just the one [time],” she said before quickly adding, “Well, we hung out more than once … yeah.”
For context, Salley and West sparked dating rumors in October when both attended a football game with Southern Hospitality’s Emmy Sharrett and her fiancé, Will Kulp. It didn’t help the rumor mill when one of Salley’s Instagram photos showed West licking the side of her head.
For his part, West explained he was only in town for work-related purposes, though Salley spilled that they’d “played a little bit” when attending BravoCon 2025 in November. As she put it, “His personality is awesome. He’s very genuine — like, if you’re hanging out with him, all of his attention is on you.” Still, she was single in the end, and now setting her sights on Austen Kroll.
What to expect from West Wilson’s dating life on Summer House Season 10
As audiences wait to see what unfolds between West and Ciara, West’s official bio teases “complicated” matters when it comes to his dating life. It asks the question, “Will West be able to confidently date in front of his housemates, or will he find himself retreating into a shell when things get complicated?”
