As Chris Hahn made a new love connection on Vanderpump Rules, the SUR bartender revealed that it wasn’t the first time his dating life was featured on reality TV.
While horseback riding with potential romantic interest Audrey Lingle during Season 12, Episode 3, Chris explained that he was previously on two Netflix reality dating shows.
“My first reality dating show was called Dated and Related, which is a terrible name,” Chris explained of the series he appeared on with cousin and fellow VPR cast member Jason Cohen in 2022. “Everyone thinks it’s, like, incest, which it does sound incestuous a little bit. Then, I was on Perfect Match [in 2024], and that was, like, a little bit bigger of a show. It was more known.”

Rather than helping him find love, however, Chris added that the experiences actually made his dating life “a little rough,” telling Audrey that “it attracts the wrong people.”
“I’m not a celebrity at all, but, like, there will be people that watch the show that think I’m famous because of it,” he elaborated in a confessional. “I would start to go on dates, and I’d realize that these girls just wanna be here to try to get some clout. I felt almost like a f–kin’ piece of meat.”
Audrey, meanwhile, claimed that she had no idea Chris had been on either reality dating show.

After “Cowboy Chris” arrived at the Malibu ranch, looking the part, he admitted to a producer that he was “trying to impress Audrey” on their casual date.
During his one-on-one chat with her during Vanderpump Rules‘ Dec. 16 episode, Chris opened up even more about his complicated dating history.
“I think I haven’t really had any luck meeting, like, a genuine person, at least from my point of view,” he told the SUR hostess. “I’ve also only been in, like, three serious relationships. My last relationship was back in New Jersey, three years ago. But I’ve had a few situationships here and there.”

That’s when Audrey chimed in to gauge whether or not Chris was still living the “single boy life,” or if he was interested in a more “serious” relationship.
“Well, at this point in my life, it’s like, if I don’t see anything long-term with someone, I’m not gonna really waste my time or their time,” he answered.
Audrey’s response? “That’s very mature.”

Prior to Chris’ arrival, Audrey explained to her friend that the purpose of the outing was to “get to know him a little better.”
“I appreciate how Chris likes to get out of his comfort zone, and I find that really attractive,” she added in a confessional. “Plus, I mean, look at him. He looks like he should be the star in Miley Cyrus’ ‘The Climb’ music video.”
Audrey, meanwhile, went on to share details of her own past romances, along with the fact that she considers herself a “relationship girlie,” rather than a serial dater.
“Not only is Chris hot, he also is super kind,” she continued in her producer interview. “He has those aspects that I’m looking for. And if you can make me laugh, like, f–k, my clothes are off, OK?”
Indeed, the Season 12 announcement already teased that “Chris and Audrey start dating, [but] discussions of a future trip cause complications.”
