Shep Rose has some “fun things” in the works in his career. The Southern Charm cast member loves to travel, has invested in many businesses over the years, and is a published author currently in the midst of writing his second book.
Shep spoke with The Daily Dish in December, where he opened up about his second memoir. “I wrote a book,” he admitted. “It’s being edited, and it’ll come out this spring.”
The book, which is titled It’s Nothing in Moderation, a Psychedelic Reckoning with Excess, is about Shep “going to do ayahuasca,” he explained to The Daily Dish.
This experience is something that Shep has been open about. “It was so crazy and so interesting,” he explained on a December 2024 podcast episode of Off the Cupp with S.E. Cupp. “And I just started writing as soon as I landed at the airport and got on this bus with some new friends and fellow participants.”

He also revealed to The Daily Dish that he has something in the works with fellow Southern Charm cast member, Whitney Sudler-Smith. “I’m working on something else with Whitney,” he said. “Filming some fun things; just like, shenanigans.”
